you know I have been part of another forum .. Mhrw.. Quite popular and active online .. the most hated character of all time .. Mandar is played by Ashok phal desai… the character garnered hate but everyone was all hearts and love for the actor… the character was total psycho but actor’s acting prowess is well appreciated ..

honestly I think some of the criticism is also coming because of her acting which is a little off for me… she was a wrong choice for Disha …you can hate me all you want but her accent, her dialogue delivery for me is off and come across rather arrogant…

there are plenty of actresses who played negative characters and are still loved widely by audience..

Urvashi Dholakiya/Hina khan as komolika

even Sayli as Kirti in Mhrw is kinda negative most of the times

ahana from yeh hai chahtein in recent times

anita as shagun in Yeh hai mohabbatein

ruhi chaturvedi as sherlyn

even I think Kaveri priyam as kuhu was negative in yeh rishtey hai pyaar ke…

so she could have been loved .. if she is not then I think some of it is not because ShiVi is loved so much online.. she really need to introspect..
