Unpopular opinion, but I so want Shiva and Raavi to separate and find their way back to each other without their crazy families' torturing intervention. Here's presenting a story of love, longing, desires, and an unbreakable bond!

Raavi left! She wasn't his anymore; not that he ever made her his own. He wanted to, though! He wanted to pull her in his arms and keep her there; he wanted to drown in those beautiful hazel eyes; he wanted to lose himself in her silky fragrant hair; he wanted to kiss her and feel her touch. He wanted to be hers! He knew she cared for him but he didn't want a compromise. He wanted her to be with him because she wanted to. He would've gone to the ends of the Earth for her love had she just called his name! But she didn't! She didn't fight for him. He didn't have the strength to go in his room; the room that belonged to her just like him and his heart! Looking at his wardrobe without her clothes hurt so much. Without Raavi, the walls of the room closed in on him; without her, the darkness of the room paralyzed him completely. As he laid awake on his cot in the foyer, Shiva couldn't stop his tears!

Shiva let her go! He didn't say anything when his mom prepared for his engagement even before they were officially separated. He wasn't hers anymore; not for the lack of try though! She tried so hard; she wanted to bury herself in his arms; she wanted to lose herself in him; she wanted to kiss him and sooth his pain. She wanted to be his! She knew he cared about her; she felt his love and longing when she had met with the bike accident but that was it! He didn't say anything to her. He didn't stop her. She would've fought with the whole world for him if he had just called her name. But he didn't! Maybe he did want to be free of her. She tried really hard to make a home with him but she failed and the failure felt so heavy on her heart that she suffocated under the weight! Without Shiva, Raavi's life was left with a void so deep and dark that she couldn't see the light! Lost to her own heart, she laid awake on her cold bed with tears flowing uncontrollably.

The dark night felt so serene to Shiva. He could hide in the darkness and listen to his own battered heartbeat in the quiet of the night. He couldn't sleep; he couldn't breathe. He got up and went to the balcony. The moon was shining a little less today as if it, too, was heartbroken seeing Raavi leave. He glanced at the room across the street which was just as dark and quiet as his heart. The breeze ruffled the curtains of the room and his heart fluttered hoping to see one tiny glimpse of her. But the room was still. He went back inside heartbroken and lost.

Raavi had barely dozed off when cool breeze came through the open door and gently caressed her face.

"Shiva!" she exclaimed and woke up hoping that he came for her. But he didn't! Her room was empty just like her heart. Restless, she got up and went to the balcony. As soon as she got out, she thought she saw a shadow go back inside and felt hopeful that he'd turn around and look at her. But, once again, he didn't! She looked at the moon but it wasn't shining bright. Disheartened, she realized that without Shiva, her world had gone dark. Numb, she sat down on the floor and let the darkness and quiet wash over her.

Shiva didn't want the sun to come up. Raavi used to be up and working by the time he woke up everyday. His morning used to start with seeing her getting ready in their room. Shiva loved the sight of her getting ready; she'd brush her long silky hair, wear her earrings and bracelet, put on a small bindi, and look absolutely stunning. He loved the beautiful and flowery fragrance of her body wash and shampoo that filled the room. And his favorite moment was when she applied sindoor; not that he ever let her realize any of this. Today, however, when he'd go to the room, it would be empty. She wouldn't be there getting ready. The thought of not seeing her, bruised his already battered heart. Reluctantly, Shiva got up and got ready for a long day ahead. He got ready and glanced in the direction of the kitchen where she used to spend most of her time. She'd prepare breakfast and tea and bring it out with a beautiful smile on her face. That's what he loved the most about her; no matter what happened, she always greeted a new day with a smile. But today, the kitchen was empty and looked sad without her. Shiva couldn't be there and he certainly didn't want to see his mom or Disha so he left for the store.

Raavi woke up with a heavy heart! She didn't need to get up early knowing that she didn't have to make breakfast or take care of anyone anymore but she couldn't lie there. At Shiva's house, she used to wake up with the sight of a sleeping Shiva. Even though they slept separately, it had become her habit to look at him sleeping first thing in the morning. Seeing him fast asleep like a baby was the best part of her day. But from now on, she wouldn't be seeing him. She got up and went to her wardrobe and took out his old shirt that she brought with her. She ran her fingers over it gently and smelled it as a tear rolled down her eye. Although, he looked handsome in his new clothes, she missed her old Gunda; the one who was always true to himself and full of confidence. But it seemed that he was gone now so she carefully folded the shirt, put it back, and went to get ready. Every morning, she would wake up early and make breakfast for everyone but she always made extra for Shiva as her Chattan Pandya was always hungry. Standing in her Maasi's kitchen now, she wondered who'd be cooking today and if Rishita or Dhara would make something extra for him. She missed Shiva so much that it physically hurt her to the core. Raavi didn't want to face her Maasi and listen to her rude comments about her broken relationship so she grabbed her purse and left for college.

The angst in this one! I can’t! Both of them are such dumbos. I want to lock them together in a room till they realize they can’t live without each other. But then that would defeat the plot of the story of them finding their way to each other without any interference. Please keep going! Can’t wait to see how the story unfolds.
