'Everyone is busy but...' Gaurav S Bajaj on the vibe on Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain sets

Actor Gaurav S Bajaj is a part of the much-awaited spin-off, Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, which is connected to the legacy of the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actor has been roped in for a significant role in the show and is already enjoying his experience on the sets.

In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Gaurav spoke about joining the show at a time when the franchise holds a special place in the hearts of television viewers. He shared that being associated with such a legacy comes with a sense of responsibility.

“I honestly feel special to be joining the show in this phase. We've all grown up hearing about watching Kyunki and had discussed for the longest period, so being a part of this show has, I mean that's connected to legacy, it feels amazing that you being a part of it and at the same time it's a big responsibility as well, much bigger than what anyone could think because people have almost lived up, grown up with this and have so much love and nostalgia attached to it. So I'm on my toes so that I'm able to create that same connection with this present generation too.”

Talking about the atmosphere on the sets and working with actors from different age groups, Gaurav shared, “The vibe on the set is really nice. The best part is the age group. Every age group people are there. I have Gen Z's, I have Alpha's, I have kids. When we sit, we have a lot of different funny discussions. Like I have scenes with kids.”

The actor also praised the team behind the show and revealed how the direction team helped him settle into a running show. According to Gaurav, the teamwork on the sets has made the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

“Even though everyone is busy but there's always a sense of teamwork along always. And that also makes a huge difference because when you're enjoying the process it reflects in your performances too. And it's a very well groomed I would say. All the actors are well groomed and that directly credit goes to the direction team. The direction team is so sorted that they have been doing an incredible job. And I think one of the best, easiest find I would say which helped me to be a part of this show and find it easy to step into a running show which I have never done that- was the direction team. How well sorted they are in their taking and everything goes in one take while your closes and everything is being recorded with the placement. That is a super high five I would shout out to the direction team. Specially my director Khwaja. So this is how it feels different when you work with different production houses. But sometime when I, this is my first time with them. It's a feel good factor and good vibe.”

With the show carrying the legacy of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, viewers are naturally curious to see how the new story and characters will take the franchise forward. Gaurav, meanwhile, is already receiving love from the audience and is hopeful that viewers will connect with his character.
