Wanted a convo SO MUCH

Raavi and Shiva started building their own little paradise one precious moment at a time. Along with breakfast at the store and dinner at Raavi’s house, they started meeting for lunch dates, too. On weekends, they started exploring the beautiful coastline of Gujarat from Diu to Shivrajpur. While Raavi was thrilled to sneak around with Shiva, Shiva felt like he was finally living the life of his dreams with the girl he loved! Content with her life, on a cool winter night, Raavi was studying and waiting for Shiva in her room when he called.

“Tu soyi nahi ab tak?” … “Tu kaha reh gaya? Kitani der kar di!” Both Shiva and Raavi said at once.

“Chipkali, aaj dukaan pe bohot kaam tha. Aaj rehne dete hai. Kal subah milenge!” he told her.

Raavi was disappointed but she could understand. He worked the hardest at the store and never took his work for granted. That was one of the things she loved about him, his dedication to the smallest of tasks.

“Theek hai. Par tune khaana khaaya?” Raavi asked.

“Haan. Tu bhi kha lena aur so jaa!” Shiva replied.

“Aapka hukum sar aankhon pe!” Raavi said with a smile making Shiva laugh, too.

They talked for a little bit and when Raavi wished him good night and asked him to go to sleep, he said, “Tere bina neend kaise aaegi? Tu aa na mere paas!”

“Mein tere paas hi toh hu! Chal ab so ja! Good night!” Raavi replied and hung up.

Shiva laid awake in his cold bed thinking about his new life. It seemed totally filmy, but he couldn’t help missing Raavi. He took his phone out and opened Raavi’s pictures. Growing up, whenever Raavi used to say that she was the most beautiful girl of Somnath, he used to get irritated. But he soon realized that Raavi was the world’s most beautiful girl, and now, she was his! Lost in love, he kissed her picture, put his phone on his heart, and tried to sleep. After a while he felt a familiar pressure on his chest. He opened his eyes a little and saw Raavi. She was looking at him with those beautiful hazel eyes and he couldn’t stop himself from pulling her in and hugging her tight.

Still half asleep he said, “Ayee Chipkali, tu photo se baahar aake mujhse chipak gai? Sahi hai!” and chuckled.

Raavi lightly hit him on the shoulder and said, “Gadheda, photo se nahi, khidaki se aai hu!” and kissed his cheek.

After hanging up the call, Raavi had tried sleeping but she couldn’t. Shiva’s words kept playing in her ears. “Tu aana mere paas!” he had said with so much longing that she couldn’t resists. She placed a few pillows on the bed and pulled the blanket over them to make it look like she was asleep. She then wrapped her dupatta on her head to hide her face, climbed down the ladder by the balcony, and reached Pandya Niwas. She sneaked in through the kitchen window and tiptoed through the house to get to Shiva’s room. As soon as she entered the room and closed the door behind her, she felt a sharp pain in her heart.

This room was hers once! When they first got married, she and Shiva used to sleep on the floor and there were boxes everywhere. They had fought on that night, too, and Shiva had told her that he hated her; she had said the same thing to him. But as much pain as they caused each other, they had shared the space comfortably. Raavi never felt out of place with Shiva. And then, when things finally started getting better between them, the storm of insecurities and mistrust hit them hard, and they ended up breaking each other’s hearts and their marriage. Now, coming back to the same room to Shiva made her feel like she was finally home. Shiva was asleep with his phone on his chest. She closed the window of the room and went to bed. She put aside the phone and put her head on his chest and felt the rhythm of his heartbeat. A few seconds later Shiva had stirred and asked if she came out of the picture.

Shiva felt Raavi’s kiss and was fully alert now. He sat up with disbelief and said, “Tu sach mein yaha hai? Tu yaha kaise aai? Itani raat ko? Kyun?”

“Aree tune hi toh mujhe bulaaya tha!” Raavi replied.

“Haan par, mujhe batana tha na tujhe ke tu aa rahi hai!” Shiva asked.

Raavi sat up, too and jokingly asked, “Tujhe batati toh kya tu aarti ka thaal leke mera griha pravesh karne ke liye darwaaze pe khada rehta?”

Shiva was annoyed that she was joking right now and said, “Ma ne dekh liya hota toh?”

Raavi rolled her eyes and asked, “Toh wapis chali jaaun?”

Shiva looked her and his heart took over as he shook his head and said, “Nahi!”

Raavi smiled and extending her hand she said, “Aa ja!”

Shiva went to bed and held her hand. She kissed his hand and he kissed her forehead. Raavi looked into his eyes and her heart flooded with so much love for him that she thought it would explode. She cupped his face and kissed his forehead. Shiva closed his eyes and lost himself in her warmth and love. She kissed his eyes and rested her head on his. She gently ran her hands behind his neck and over his shoulders. Shiva opened his eyes and ran his fingers through her hair. He kissed her eyes, her cheeks, and her forehead. Raavi opened her eyes and hugged him tight. He hugged her back and they stayed tangled up for a long time before lying down and falling asleep in each other's arms.

In the morning, Shiva woke up late and Raavi was gone. He checked his phone but there were no messages from her. He got up hurriedly and went to get ready to meet her for breakfast. But when he walked out of the room after getting ready, the family was already having breakfast. They all looked at Shiva and expected him to join them but he just kept walking. However, Rishita stopped him and asked him to join them for breakfast.

When Shiva tried to refuse, Rishita said, "Aree naashta toh karke jao! Itani acchi sandwich banaai hai ... " she leaned in and said, "tumhari waali ne!" and winked.

Shiva was shocked hearing this and stammered and said, "Kya? Kya meri waali? Bhabhi? Kya bol rahe ho aap?"

"Chup! Sab pata hai humein!" Rishita scolded jokingly.

Shiva was scared now as he asked, "Humein?" and looked at his brothers and sisters-in-law.

Dhara walked up to him and said, "Ha humein! Hum sab ko!" She pulled his ear making him wince and said, "Kyun re? Jab shaadi-shuda the tab ek mauka nahi chhoda ladne ka aur ab jab divorce ho gaya hai toh Laila-Majnu ki tarah chhup-chhup ke romance kar rahe ho tum dono?"

Shiva got scared thinking about Suman hearing all this and said, "Bhabhi, dheere Ma sun legi!"

"Ma ghar pe nahi hai. Lekin Shiva tum kab se itane fattu ho gaye?" Rishita asked teasingly.

Gautam, Dev, and Krish joined in on the fun and started pulling his leg.

"Aree Rishita, tumhe ab tak nahi pata chala? Humaara sher Ma ke aage bheegi billi ban jaata hai!" Dev said.

Shiva felt embarrassed and tried to run away but Krish stopped him and said, "Ae Dev kuch bhi matt bol mere Shiva bhai ke baare mein! Woh na sher hai na billi. Woh toh haathi hai haathi!"

"Haathi?" Gautam asked confused.

"Haan Gaumbi, kyun ki iske chabaane ke daant alag hai aur dikhaane ke alag! Duniya bhar ke saamne toh bada Rowdy bana firta hai leking andar se bilkul Romeo hai!" Krish replied and everyone laughed.

Shiva was irritated now and said, "Ae gadhede, chup! Zyaada ucchal matt warna dunga ek..." and raised his hand.

Gautam held his hand and said, "Oyy.. tu kya dadagiri dikha raha hai? Kya galat kaha isne? Jab hum tujhe samjha samjha ke thak gaye ki divorce matt le, matt le, tune ek nahi suni. Aur ab yeh chup chup ke kabhi maami ke ghar, kabhi yahaan, aur weekends pe Diu aur Shivrajpur? Wah!!"

Shiva was surprised knowing that they knew about their trips, too. He knew the source of this information as she was a terrible secret keeper but he wanted to know for sure so he asked, "Aapko kisne bataaya?"

Dhara and Rishita smirked and the brothers chuckled. Just then Shiva's attention was drawn to the kitchen door and he could see that she was hiding behind it. From behind the door, Raavi looked at him, too and came out slowly.

"Chipkali tu.." Shiva started scolding when Gautam interjected and said, "Ayy, khabardaar jo Raavi pe chillaya toh!"

Raavi looked at Shiva and said, "Dekh tu gussa matt kar! Woh jaane se pehle maine socha ke mein tere liye breakfast bana ke jaati hu toh maine breakfast banaaya itane mein Dhara Di aa gai aur"

"Aur tune sab bata diya!" Shiva finished her sentence annoyed.

Raavi looked at him apologetically and saw that everyone was staring at them. Shiva saw her looking behind him and turned around to face the staring eyes while Raavi grabbed the back of his shirt and hid behind him. They just kept looking for a few seconds before breaking into big smiles and ran towards them for a big family hug!

Raavi and Shiva were happy with the love and support of everyone but Raavi was a bit nervous. Seeing her anxious, Dhara walked up to her and asked, "Ab kya hua?"

"Woh Dhara di, Kaaki aur Maasi..." Raavi said but couldn't complete.

They all understood. Since the whole divorce fiasco, the troubles between Suman and Prafulla had escalated to whole new levels. There was no way they were going to be convinced so easily. Shiva was worried about that, too.

Seeing Shiva and Raavi so worried Rishita went and hugged both of them and said, "Ek baar meri wajah se tum dono ko na chahte hue bhi shaadi karni padi thi! Aur ab jab tum dono sach mein saath hona chahte ho toh yeh meri responsibility hai tum dono ke rishte ko protect karne ki."

Dev stepped up and said, "Nahi Rishita, yeh humaari responsibility hai!" and hugged Shiva.

Rishita hugged Raavi and proclaimed, "Toh it's decided! Ab toh Saamne Ma ho ya Maami, dilwaale toh dulhaniya leke hi jaaenge!" and everyone rejoiced.

The young Pandyas shared another family hug before Raavi said that she needed to get home. They all helped her sneak out of Pandya Niwas and sneak back into Prafulla's house and went about their days.

Beautiful update! ❤️ Both meeting twice or sometimes thrice a day. going away for the weekends, has helped them come together again and I would say this divorce has been a blessing in disguise. They finally realized what they missed out on and how they cannot live without each other.

Raavi sneaked for the first scene to spend the night with him. Isn't she the cutest and has become very bold since the divorce. Also the rest of the family now knows ofcourse except Suman and Mami.

I am glad that Rishita and Dev have come forward to reunite them. Now I can't wait to read the next chapter

This one was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for me, so I'm just going to quote lines that made me feel strongly.... ❤️

Raavi kyun karegi meri izzat?

This question is something Shiva still needs to ask himself on the show, despite their reunion. He knows he's made mistakes, has hurt her, now... But he still doesn't understand the extent of pain he's put her through. He still hasn't acknowledged her tattered self respect yet, and he has to.

Aur mein? Mein chup-chaap khada hoke tamasha dekhta raha.

Yes you did, Shiva. You were so silent.... But it's extremely satisfying to see you finally standing up for Raavi.

mere toote hue rishte ka tamasha banaaya?

Suman really, really, really needs to start thinking as a mother, and not as the sethani of her family, a maha saas. Because no mother would do what she's done to her own child's life. I hope she regrets her actions so far, and that she atleast tries to redeem herself....

Ek aurat hoke usse samjh nahi aaya

Suman used to be the face of the old world that has changed in the presence of a secure environment and with the support of their family. Now she has become the face of that same society that believes in victim blaming being the way to go, and that the woman must always understand and adjust. Always. How I hope to see the old Suman back!
