Beautiful! I love it that the new version is about mental health awareness. As someone who is diagnosed with clinical depression, I always found myself listening to the original version and really connected to the lyrics, it’s my favourite song. So I’m glad that the new version recognises it and is dedicated to the feeling of loneliness and depression. Musically I still feel the original is superior but this one might grow on me. Shaan has still got it. Why is he not given more songs?

I'm glad he's done this, but I feel like the first one's upbeat tune makes people want to move on. This one seems to pull people back into that sadness. Though Shaan's voice is way more haunting in this one. I felt goosebumps all over.
