The case of the surnames

I don't know if anyone of you noticed but the writers always bring in a more heavyweight, Royal/rich sounding surname when they introduce a new family.

For eg:

For a Maheshwari they brought in a Singhania

For a Singhania they brought in a Goenka

And now

For a Goenka they brought in a Birla

I wonder if this show stretches till the next gen what surname would they choose next?

Scindia, Adani or direct Ambani 😂

Hahahaaa Singhania, Goenka, & Birla are all billionaire Indian business families IRL too. Even Ranveer was a Chauhan, another billionaire family that owns Parle-G 🤪

Feeds the female fantasy, no? The FL getting married to a hot guy from a rich family. No matter even if she herself belongs to a rich af family 🤣 Maheshwari's were multimillionaires. Singhania's were bigger multimillionaires. Goenka's were straightup billionaires. Now Birla's must be on the global top 20 rich list 🤣

Akshu's daughter will marry an Ambani. And then her granddaughter will marry Elon Musk 🤣

It's not an obsession, rather the show's theme. YRKKH has been about Marwadi joint families in Udaipur since the beginning.

Like Bade Acche Lagte Hain is always about Mumbai-dwelling Punjabi families. Pavitra Rishta about Marathi. Aatish Kapadia shows are always Gujarati. TBH I like it. A thali of vibrant Indian cultures on our screens 🤗

The show is based in Rajasthan so Marwadis are understandable. I'm actually waiting for Sisodias and other Royal family names

Yes it's a cultural thing but not once in these 3 gens has the boy's family been in a lesser financial position that the FL. No princess marrying a pauper here
