Rajesh Khanna, the first superstar of Bollyood had 16 consecutive hits, there was a time when 4 of his movies were running at the same time and all of them were super hits.

Another star, yes not superstar, Rajendra Kumar was named as Jubilee Kumar for making every movie of his a silver, golden, platinum jubilee. Still he was never called Superstar.

Gone are the days of jubilees and multiple movies in one year.

This is a new era and a new generation. We haven't had movies for two years now because of the pandemic. So it's just an year not three. All the big superstars have one movie in an year or two years except Akshay who is barely able to make his movies hit.

His last movie, Sanju was the biggest hit of the year even when Salman, Akshay, Aamir, Ajay, SRK all other superstars had movies in that year and that's what people remember.

Ranbir hi iss sadi ka asli superstar hai. He doesn't even have competition. I am not comparing him with Amitabh Bachchan. But it is pretty much like the Bachchan era when Bollywood was a one man show I believe.

I don't think you are getting my point here. This is a different era. Consecutive hits and jubilees is not even a criteria anymore. Woh sab purane zamaane ki baaton pe atke ho aap.

Here the super stardom is all about giving the biggest hit in the same year when all other superstars movies released and still you win.
