Jasmine's True Face

Hello All, I am Piyali...not a regular viewer of the show but saw some initial bits because of the production house( Expected it to be different) and also since I was happy Tejo-Jass marriage wasn't given any importance unlike the usual itv trope( Example of what I mean-Another show of the same channel 'Bani' where heroine ended up with fraud husband.) Anyways, Thats a matter of past considering this show is most probably going to turn disgusting soon with Fatejo as end game. But yes, actually I left this show completely during the affair track but since Tejo discovered the affair I recently started re-reading the written updates and hence even as I am loving the savage Tejo for now, one aspect of this whole thing is continously disturbing me and I just wanted to vent it out somewhere.

What exactly does Tejo mean by Jasmine's 'true face'? Honestly this word gives me vibes of those shows where vamp characters are complete outsiders-sadist girls who just mean harm to people without any gain or anything but act all innocent in front of male lead, does Tejo mean that when she says true face or she simply means jasmine's selfish and I deserve everything I want no matter at cost nature? Since if it is the former, I can't understand when exactly did Tejo discover this nature of her 'sister'? Through the EMA? Then isn't that exactly the nature of Kut(eh){Sorry I know namecalling isn't allowed here but I hate this piece of trash) ...Fateh as well? Shouldn't she simply say you both will see how shallow you and your so called love is when you'll live together and eventually end up parting? Why put it all on Jasmine? Or did she mean about Jasmine's selfishness which I think Fateh is very much aware of and doesn't care about.( In a normal setup we all are selfish so I don't think this is anyways that big a flaw of jasmine if her selfishness in simple things is being referred to here but of course, if we mean the affair then both are equally selfish and disgusting, Jasmine more in the fact that she purposely trapped Fateh who was married to her sister, Fateh more in the fact that he slept with Tejo, Gave her false hope of a happy married life as well as hid the thing about sleeping with Tejo from Jasmine cheating her in this aspect as well). Infact in a marital setup, Fateh's true face should be something Tejo should tell Jasmine will come out considering that guy can claim to love a girl and still marry willingly as well as consumate with that very girl's sister, Jasmine atleast was loyal to Fateh even if for her own ego even after breaking the marriage, she never showed interest in Gippy.

Anyways, or did Tejo always knew Jasmine's true face? And still decided it was best for 'then' good hearted Fateh to end up with Jasmine simply because he loves her? Because if that's the case then her current stand should be same no? Only with the exception of you both have hurt someone and build your love castle on it and shown your absolute disgustingness so Karma will come back to you and seeing how you both are equally selfish and vile, you both just won't be able to live together happily. Why suddenly Jasmine has a 'true face' which she is hiding from people but Fateh doesn't?

I don't know if I am misinterupting things but I can clearly see the trope this show is going to take with Fateh eventually realizing how good Tejo is and how bad Jasmine is( which of course is true) and regret leaving Tejo for jasmine and go back begging Tejo for forgiveness, do some oh-so-sweet stuff or maybe meet with an accident or maybe both and FaTejo will be back! And am so disapppointed, Why? Can't be love someone who is not conventionally good? Does Love really see if the person in front of us is good? Is Love that conditional? I don't think so.

I might just be wrong and I'll be very happy if I am wrong but I feel thats whats going to happen, even in today's episode, Tejo's 'Ho Kaun Tum' wad savage but clearly telling of the usual, She believe this Fateh's isn't the one who lived with her, He is changed but Jasmine was forever cunning and has a 'true face'. Why this disgustingness can't be Fateh's true face as well? Didn't even Jasmine once in the past sell her dresses for dowry of Tejo's wedding to Jass( I really don't know how Jass was going to take THEM ALL to Caneda, of course Tejo's marriage was to clear her way but also had momentarily taken away the family's all assets {Taking away from arrangements of her marriage as well I believe} and eventually as well, Jasmine was to marry first, she could very well do that before too if Tejo refused marriage I believe. ) and also cried her heart out and even apologized I believe very earnestly when she believed it was she and the family who were responsible for the messed up situation Tejo was in post her marriage with Jass. Why then Jasmine has a 'true face' and hasn't simply changed with time while Fateh who clearly in the past behaved like a well- behaved roadside romeo to Jasmine, never tried to mend relationship between his sister and father being the second eldest son, changed his stand on going to Caneda at the drop of a hat on knowing it was Jasmine's dream is a good at heart man who has changed and doesn't has a 'true face'.

I can be wrong and if I am, I would love to be corrected but this Jasmine's true face thing is something that is really bothering me and I just couldn't put it past me reading twice in last two written updates of the show. Sorry for the long rant, Ending simply with mentioning not a couple fan here, simply liked Ankit from Sadda Haq and was happy about him getting lead but guess Fatejo did end up growing somewhat on me in the past but sadly, makers spoiled them to no path of redemption, for me. Just hope am proved wrong about them being endgame now though. 😊

I'll try to explain simply

Vamps come in all sizes, shapes and colours not just black and white like EK's vamps.

Most of us have a little bit of evil in us but most of us also try to overcome those negative traits. Be it lying to our parents, cheating at exams or any other chota meta jhooths that we learn through age and experience. We start feeling guilty and learn to see right from wrong. In short we mature into good human beings. Jasmin never tried to overcome those traits and as she grew they became worse and worse to the extent that she even snatched her sister's husband.

Jasmin has always been someone who is used to getting her own way whether it is in getting attention from family or toys that belong to others. Her wants have been many but she has always wanted someone else to bring her what she wants, never to work for it herself. She believes it is her right and when she doesn't get something she wants, she throws a tantrum. So far Tejo and the rest of her family went along with her tantrums but in doing so they unknowingly created a monster.

Jasmin is no different from Komolika, just cuter and bubblier. She has grown into a person who lacks empathy, someone who can only see a one-sided view. unfortunately in this show, the ML is made of similar material as the vamp which makes it appear to some young viewers that it is ok what JasFa are doing.

Jasmin doesn't really want Fateh, what she wants is the 'idea of fateh'. A good-looking rich guy who will fawn over her and fulfil all her dreams without her having to lift a finger. When Fateh failed to go to Canada, she rejected him and now she only wants what Tejo has. It is the only way she can feel superior to Tejo since she has no other virtues herself. Tomorrow If Hrithik Roshan shows an interest in Tejo, Jasmin will drop Fateh like a hot potato and start seducing Hrithik😆

That is Jasmin's true face.

She discovered it long back but loved her sister as there wasn't any conflict between them but now jesmine crossed the line. Yes feteh is selfish n all. You not always get a fully faithful guy. But leave it aside her fight is for her self respect. Now it is important for her to show jesso her place. Now it's like that if feteh and jesso didn't get along. What she will do came behind tejo second husband. She needs to see her place. After that Tejo will throw feteh out of her life not before that. He can't compel her to give divorce by law as he is the one who is having affair.

I think what Tejo means by J's true face is that she wants Fateh to prove her ego rather then true love which Fateh thinks.

Fateh knows J is manipulative and selfish. But according to him she loves him that's why she is being like that or say in J's words, she has made him believe that. ( it's what J herself said to sweety !)

Tejo always knew J does not love Fateh unconditionally the way Fateh loves her. She already warned him so. But he said his love is ibadat and he cannot see anything other then her. It was his thoughts that impressed Tejo and she decided to help him get J . She had pity as well as love for him in her eyes when she said so (Please watch initial episodes her thoughts have been clearly explained)

She never expected Fateh would play double game with her after what she did for him. He honestly accepted her as his wife and then fooled her around by having affaire with J behind her back.

First she let Tejo believe that she has moved on and then she let Fateh believe that she is still crazily in love with him. Both Tejo and Fateh were caught off gurd. Fateh thinks he got his lost love back while Tejo thought her husbabd and sister have moved on.

Such a level of stretegic planning just blew my mind. We as Fatejo fans always thout J is just blowing hollow trumpet as her initial moves backfired. But hold on! It actually always brought Fateh's guards a level down. Tejo just never realised it coz J convinced Fateh secretly and decided to keep it secret fom Tejo till Fateh was totally in her charm. Then slowly she geared up her game once she found Fateh was not going back.

In Jasfa i see a strategic planning from J to get back Fateh which clearly involved Tejo as pawn while from Fateh's side i see it as fool in madly love with a cunning witch and leaving his hard earned wife for it.

Well the answer is this is exactly how society reacts.... Whenever someone leave their wife n marry someone else....or have ema... society always find more fault in that 2nd girl n in a way try to whitewash male(while it should either equal equal fault or may be more from male side)... This is real fact... Usually sentences like ' ladka to bht Sharif zaroor usi ladki ne phasaya hoga' , 'arey ladki bht tez hai usi ne shuruat ki hogi, usi ne koi jadu kia h' is very normal... While people forget that it is actually that man who lived a life with her wife before starting ema..... So he very well know how's he going to hurt his wife or what consequences he has to face in future...

Tejo should not need to fight for a relationship with fateh. It is fateh who should fight for relationship with tejo if he regrets his behaviour and really wants a relationship with tejo.

No not for Fateh . He clearly knowingly fooled her and played with her self respect , emotions as well as body . He is a disgusting fellow. Tejo must leave him for sanity of her mind .

But yes she should reveal Jasso true face to Fateh. So that at least he realises he has been equally fooled and is got no true love in return.
