Streaming hasn't been mentioned.

Highly doubtful since 1) it's a very expensive film and 2) it would be Aamir's first film in 3 years and it would probably be another 2-3 years for his next. If he put it on OTT he'd be without a theatrical release for 5-6 years. He can wait it out.

Aamir actually bought the rights to adapt Forrest Gump instead of plagiarizing. Not cheap. It's reportedly been filmed in over 100 locations. Even if Aamir's salary is not part of the budget he'll want to get paid on the back end. A lot. He's not going to sell 2+ years of his work to OTT at a huge discount.

Right now ott is a better option

Unfortunately theatrical released films are underperforming at the box office

100% A CINEMA RELEASE!!

Initial insider reports apparently say that the film is a masterpiece...so Aamir obviously wants the huge box office collections!

To further add, Taran Adarsh is still reporting a cinema Christmas release....I doubt it will release on Christmas, but I'm quite sure the film would release in cinemas sometime next year (whenever the covid situation gets better).
