Seriously. She doesn't fall sick, so the Dixits have to take care of her. They took care when she was pregnant, but there was an underlying cause. I want to see her just being sick and the Dixit household taking care of her just for her.

Also, they have never celebrated Sona's birthday also. I wish they show some pampering for her also, as a birthday girl! I had really hoped to see a secret birthday celebration when they were dating. That also didn't happen:(

She has been put through a lot, she has been realizing and feeling very low about Dev not being the same way as before, she is constantly taunted by her MIL, she has lost her mother, her true friend and confidante, she has found out that the daughter who was her survival lifeline for 7 years is not her own, she found out that the one promise she made to her estranged son in order to win his trust was also broken due to her MIL's insistence to get her way.

I don't know why the makers are showing Dev popping pills. They should have shown Sona going through serious mental health issues due to all this. If they had shown her taking pills, that would be rightly ironical as well, since Dev and Sona started their journey where Sona stopped him from taking such pills and confront an issue. And now, Sona faced with the same situation ends up taking pills instead of having a direct confrontation with the man, the love of her life, the one who is supposed to be her partner.

itni high expectations where the women is given an actual arc and she isn't just a tool for the surface level betterment of the man.

honestly in season 1 toh ishu's arc was atleast till 200 episodes was handled really well. ab bhagwan whatever is happening

Most of the female audience especially the younger generation are usually swayed by a handsome face playing the male lead in the shows. Any sin or crime committed by them are forgiven & forgotten easily enough while the female leads are expected to be meek & forgiving always. Nothing surprising in it as that has always been the case all ITV shows.. I think Sonakshi Bose is the first female ( read bahu) character in ITV who has the guts to point out & raise her voice against the wrong doings done by the male lead character & her saas that too without being rude or disrespectful. I wish they had shown her even more stronger instead of passively listening to insults from her MIL & husband too.

I was shocked when Dev said that the reason he didn't tell Sona about the couple/ spouse themed party in his office was because he wanted a respite from her complaining & cribbing ways.🙄

He should have been grateful that he has a beautiful wife ( whom he professes to love very much & cannot bear to live without) who is so much in love with him that she has tolerated innumerable insults, accusations & humiliations from his family & his mother in particular for so many years, inspite of him never supporting her.😓🤢 But unfortunately for Sonakshi, Dev is still attached to his mother's apron strings.😬

Kuch bee nahin mila dev ka taraf se. I wanted to drool on caring n pampering dev. Don't know why cvs don't want to show any good part. In reality, most husbands do pampering wives, taking them out or buying gift at least some times. Krp never thinks of bringing happiness. Contrary always think how to bring tension.

me that was me a few years ago. personally never found shaheer too attractive but other toxic male leads i have justifed in my dumb brain. i actually don't know how i grew up but i made it a thing to watch more shows and movies written and directed by women (there's not too many)

really that helps now i sometimes can even guess if a show or movie written by a women by the sheer chracterisation.

not always but a lot of times. women have such little representation in director writers, in hollywood and bolly and itv me toh terrible.

ekta kapoor and gul khan are an exception.

More tension coming.. saw the latest trailer with the new girl. "Kya pyaar ke in do rangon mein ek Naya rang hai milne wala?" That girl is in triangle with Devakshi!🤦‍♀️
