Post therapy there should be positive changes definitely but as I said basic nature cannot be changed. This applies to both of them. She will continue to be in love hopelessly and no idea about him. How he will shape up post therapy.

Children should not be the only reason to stay together. Sonakshi should understand this. Because as it is the kids are able to see the differences between their parents. This will just create uncertainties in their small minds.

That's the thing! In Season 1, it was shown that Dev-Sona got together because they were in love with each other and definitely not just for Suhana. The whole arc took several episodes, with Suhana not being the reason at all.. But this season's promos, they said they decided to give each other a chance for Suhana. It's ridiculous!

Very well put. It is like only sona is invested in their relationship. And the makers have made it such that we only get sonas pov and from dev it's like he really doesn't care. From everything that has happened, even though any sane man would agree Sona is not at fault, at least in this situation. But still everyone including mamaji only have to say things to her. Dev is again using temporary solutions. Before, he didn't take sonas stand, I could still give him the benefit of doubt, but not standing up for your own kid? That doesn't mean you live your mom, it means you are a slave to her whims and fancies which is not healthy for either of you. And in all this, everyone will blame sona yet again. Nothing changed and they ruined all the work done in S1 post leap and S2! :(

Not so quick dear! Just read some comments on YT where the guys are saying hope no one gets a wife like Sona who just can't understand what her husband is going through.

I mean agreed Dev has/ had problems in his life but then whose life is devoid of problems . Today he has a beautiful wife , 3 beautiful kids and mom too . If he doesn't learn from his past and just uses his past to victimise himself , it's his problem

The whole story is about the Dixit clan and how they are the victims. Even Season 1 focused on the Dixit backstory, but we got absolutely nothing about the Bose family and their backstory.

I am seeing IG and Twitter full of edits saying how much poor Dev is going through, see his face, his body language. I wish they were showing Sona also going through a whole lot of issues. She is obviously unhappy and feels like she doesn't have a voice, which in that household, she just doesn't. Everything she says is brushed away and if she raises her voice, that becomes the issue and the actual issue I'd brushed away.

I wouldn't say he did justice to his role of a son. He has never corrected his mother when she erred. In fact by hiding her mistakes & flaws from others by ignoring them altogether, he has done much more harm than good as it encouraged her to take wrong decisions at the cost of doing injustice to her own daughters, daughter in law, her grandchildren & also to Dev's in- laws & now to Ayush's grandparents too. This attitude of his caused utmost misery in the lives of all the people whom he holds dear & has left him unable to balance any of his relationships or do justice to them.

Fully agree with the post.

Ishwari doesn't consider her daughters as her family now, why will she pray for them? When the name-change was happening, Mamaji told her to call her daughters and talk to them to see if they think this was okay. Ishwari said, why would I talk about my house issues with them? That was very telling, as how she doesn't consider her daughters close enough to discuss household happenings with them. They are married so no longer part of this household.

Dev should have corrected his mother. That is the right kind of love where mistakes are corrected by the loved ones. By glossing over them, he is enabling her to continue doing this. And by expecting his wife and others to accept her doings, he is stressing them out, which in turn is stressing himself also.

Babe , SM audience just think hot husband is all a wife needs . That's how much their mental aptitude is . I read why don't Sona and Ishwari make efforts to peacefully co exist so that Dev doesn't have to solve their issues . My question is who is asking Dev to sort their issues . Sona for sure didn't, all she said let me speak to Maa. It's his darling maa who asks him to convince Sona to comply with her psychotic ideas and he happily agrees . Why can't he tell his mom to deal with Sona directly.

And Dev ki mental health mental health , Sona ki mental health kuch nahi . I mean if he's burdened with constant expectations , isn't she burdened with constant judgements . Doesn't he constantly tell her it's all her fault . Soha misbehaves, her fault . Soha Ayush fight , her fault . In fact her own hurt is also her fault .

Hey I saw that post too!! 😁 And you are right! All that was asked of Dev was to stand by her while she talks to Ishwari. He refused to do that. He should have told Ishwari to call Sona as well. But his mother is the Queen of Manipulation. Called him and said, you take care of your wife. Now mom has said, so he had to deal with his wife. What nonsense.

As for constant judgements, here is the thing. Bijoy meets Dev once in a while and everytime there is a taunt, Dev takes it very personally and gets offended. He tells Sona that your father makes me feel like I am not a good husband every time we meet. Sona, lives with Ishwari in the same house, listening to the same 'not a good wife and mother' routine 24x7. So how much offended should she be? How upset should she be?

But she doesn't. Why? Because Dev gets a shock once in a while, and that affects him. Sona, on the other hand, gets it on a daily basis, so her shock tolerance has numbed and she simply has learnt to cope by letting the insults roll off her back. It's really sad. What is sadder is she probably has started believing them too. That's what happens when the same thing is repeated day in and day out.

These issues have to be addressed and both Dev & Ishwari have to be made to realize their error of ways & how each of them contributed so much to the difficulties in Sonakshi's life ( as well as to their entire family & the Bose family too) & her unhappy state of mind for the major part of the past 10 years & also for making her feel like an outsider by not accepting her wholeheartedly into the family.. Also it will be nice if they acknowledge the fact that it was Sonakshi's goodness & niceness which has held the family together post leap & not because of Ishwari as assumed by Maa beta.

This show is about flawed dev n esh. Makers wants to show, girl shd adjust n forgive (jyada bura mat mano, chalta he socho)like sona and make their lives happy.

This is the reason this time story is boring. It does not interest this hopeless n meaning less love. Always one going through problem n top of it every one advising her. Such a irritating n regressive track..

I actually wanted to see this. I wanted to see Sona going through mental health issues.

She has been put through a lot, she has been realizing and feeling very low about Dev not being the same way as before, she is constantly taunted by her MIL, she has lost her mother, her true friend and confidante, she has found out that the daughter who was her survival lifeline for 7 years is not her own, she found out that the one promise she made to her estranged son in order to win his trust was also broken due to her MIL's insistence to get her way.

I don't know why the makers are showing Dev popping pills. They should have shown Sona going through serious mental health issues due to all this. If they had shown her taking pills, that would be rightly ironical as well, since Dev and Sona started their journey where Sona stopped him from taking such pills and confront an issue. And now, Sona faced with the same situation ends up taking pills instead of having a direct confrontation with the man, the love of her life, the one who is supposed to be her partner.

How much I craved that atleast once sona shd fall sick or meet accident. I wanted to see dixits taking care of. It never happens whatever I wish for😆

This show is really impossible. I was like 'WTH is happening when they show Dev unconscious!"

It was so frustrating.
