Dabangg or Chennai Express.

Both movies were some sort of a comeback for both Salman and SRK.

Which movie you like more and why?

Dabangg is one greatest films of all time and one of the greatest experiences of my life

Chennai Express has good moments. But overall it feels like a bunch of Saturday Night Live skits pasted together.

I too think Dabangg is better.

Chennai Express.

Both are equally entertaining to different kinds of audience but I found CE to be the more Bollywood style movie and a whole package in comparison.

I'm not choosing this just because I'm an SRK Fan, I actually found SRK to be overreacting quite a bit in certain scenes of CE but the reason I still chose CE is because I don't find anything different in Dabbang from all the Tamil, Telegu, Kannada, Malayalam movies I have seen over the years.

It is an exact copy paste and much weaker product in comparison.

In my honest opinion, Tamil actors like Vijay, Rajni, Simba, Ajith, Danush, Vikram etc. etc., Telugu actors like Allu Arjun, Mahesh, Prabhas, Nagarjuna, Ram charan, etc etc., Kannada actors like Shivraj Kumar, Rakshith Shetty, Puneeth, Darshan, Sudeep, Yash, etc etc. and Malayalam actors like Manmooty, Mohanlal, Prithviraj, etc. Have all portrayed this "super hero" kinda role with much better depth and intensity than Salman.

The movie pales in comparison for me.

chennai express wasnt any comeback and it was an utter crap movie. it was a blockbuster but it did nothing to his career.

dabangg was above average movie and salmans chulbul pandey was cool. dabangg did lot to his career.

Dabangg is a classic. People would choose any crap srk movie over a Salman movie here.

Chennai Express is still an SRK movie so it definitely did something for his career.

Chennai Express was "sort of" a comeback for SRK because it was his first Blockbuster after 5 years since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and it brought him in some sort of equal footing with Salman and Aamir.

Before Chennai Express, SRK was lagging behind Salman and Aamir.... the same way Salman was lagging behind SRK and Aamir before Dabangg.

Dabangg was Salman's first Blockbuster after more than a decade since Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Difference is Salman was able to build over the success of Dabangg with more Blockbusters. While SRK again went on a downward slope after Chennai Express.
