A few days ago, "Hitler was right" was trending on twitter, You can still see "#HitlerTheGreat" and "Hitler was right" being the top search when you put his name in search box
I am a little disturbed these days because I see so many tweets where people are praising Hitler, saying he should finish his job, they need another Hitler
Is it because people are not aware of the atrocities carried out by Nazis on millions of people? Is it the same mindset which allowed this to happen?
I have noticed how Bollywood movies and television shows like "Hitler Didi" have reduced the mass murderer Hitler to a strict, disciplined man
When I was 14, I remember watching various documentaries on Hitler, we don't study anything about Holocaust in our school curriculum so I was unaware of it, I admired Hitler, I knew he was a dictator but those documentaries told me that he was a very intelligent man, My SST teacher praised him, I remember reading about WWII in school and Versailles treaty, my teacher told us that whatever Hitler did was justified (Of course, I didn't know anything about Holocaust and what did he do at this point, I thought they were referring to War)
So the question, has there been conscious effort to not educate people about the Holocaust and justify Hitler?
I have always wondered, how can any human do what Nazis did, but reading tweets like this makes me understand that hatred can make a human do anything
