Interesting poll!! If I put my favs aside, as a character, I think Suman and Gautam are more relatable, we still have people like Suman, who are straight rude to people they hate and are extremely caring towards the people they love and would never fear from pointing out mistakes of their loved ones.. My grandfather is almost like her, just that he has a little bid ruder version of Suman. These people have progressive thoughts and some old school thoughts as well...
Again Gautam as the eldest one in the family.. For me, he kinda reminds me of all Dads, isn't that how they exactly are!
I might be among the minority here, but people like Dev do exist, dumb founded in a serious situation, follow elders blindly (here, he did admit his love for Rishita tho). And there are husbands who donot stand up for their wife even when the wife's self-respect is at stake. Apart from most of his nalayak qualities due to lack of proper writing, his love for the family is pure ❤️
All this is purely from my experience of the people I've seen 😆
Suman does feel rooted in reality but Gautam and Dev I feel have been a tad exaggerated. Gautam because he seems to take everything on his head and defend Dhara even when she seems wrong to me. And Dev because he is too indecisive even in matters of his marriage.
I can't choose though, none is close to reality much.
But then if I have to, bits and pieces of all.

Definitely Rishitha- while I don't cry about partiality, I completely relate with her bewilderment with the family 🤣
My maayka has very serious people, and I grew up in a very serious, often morose atmosphere. ( my beat friend was a complete goofball- my only escape growing up 😆 My family disapproved of her 🤢)
Cut to my marriage- My in-laws are chill pro max. My husband and his extended family(maternal cousins mostly) are a raucous bunch- exactly like Shiva+Krish. In the intial days of the marriage I was so befuddled by the outpouring of love and laughter, the longs discussions on food, and was irritated by their jokes and pranks. Lots of DevTa like situations 🤣 It took me a while to trust that people could be so chill and happy.
Also, hate cooking(my husband does the heavy cooking work) so when in laws or anyone else comes they take over kitchen work 🤣 I ofcourse do other work like laundry and stuff. But totally relate to Rishitha's cooking misadventures too. Same taunts also 😆( husband does the taunting)
I am feeling really good listening to u talk about ua in laws. I have knows my in laws since I was born and still when I got married, I had to do adjustments and also felt out of depths. So can relate to her😆
I relate more to Gaumbi, as being the oldest sibling in a middle class house.
Taking care of everyone and making sure that they have everything that they need and want even if you don’t have the stuff that you need or want..
Putting there needs, desires and dreams before yours…
Specially the scene of yesterday’s episode where Gaumbi just became stressed and irritated because he didn’t know from where he could get the money…
And after doing all this, people still make you feel like you aren’t good enough of aren’t doing it good enough..
Suman: for her farsightedness, strong stand, ability to handle situation well and fiercely. She shows who's the actual mother and how she should be.
Gautam: He shows what it's like to be the eldest son, seamlessly taking every responsibility on himself and taking care of every member of the family.
Dhara: same as gaumbi, taking care of all and at the same time confused how to handle all together.. quite a realistic situation, if a woman was the only bahu for a long time, it gets difficult to cope with the new additions to the family and she's bound to get confused what to do with them all, realistic approach.
Dev: I won't say I relate to him much. But there are guys like him.. he's well behaved, soft spoken and a people pleaser..
Rishita: I can relate to her struggle of being the new Pandya bahu, being an only child myself I can imagine how drastic it can be to suddenly land up in a big joint family like that. I also relate to some of the practical concerns she raises, like the money manager thing.
Shiva: I can relate to his new found inferiority complex
Raavi: her air headedness, always being in her dreamy world, I am that. And delusional too sometimes.
Krish: his fun side, joking around, and lightening up the mood of everyone around.
Kaka: woh bechara pissta bahut hai.
Oh did I end up writing character sketches of all?🤔

Responsibility and also worrying for their people are the traits of the elders usually but what I feel too much is him hiding stuff from fam when it should have been shared amongst his people and his support of Dhara. I love it when he supports Dhara when she is right but hid defense of her even when she is wrong seems over the top to me🌹🌹

I agree to this🖤🖤🌹
Kaka🤣
Itna acha response 🙄🤔
I agree with your points and when I agree What else do I say to you😛
I like Suman for the way she sees some things. For the way she knows the world and can read people too.
I like Gaumbi because he is shown like a father figure. He is responsible and calm.
Dhara because of her immense love for the fam and also for her selflessness (a tad u real if u ask me).
Dev because he loves his family and he aso loves Rishu and tried to understand her point of view while trying to balance both sides as much as he can.
Shiva because of how much he tries to take over from Gaumbi and loves his people wildly.
Raavi for her innocence and purity of heart.
Krish because he is Krish! Sweet and sarcastic. Mischievous but also loving.
Kaka because he is selfless (unreal).
But most of them seem tooo unreal na. ITV and all.😆
