Dear Forumwali behnon,

Go ahead and choose the member u relate to the most and tell me why!

This isn’t the poll to decide your favorite! It is a poll to decide who you think is the closest to reality in real life and while you reason it out, give me the one who is far from reality as well😆

Thanks for posting this poll! Interestingly enough, I relate the most to Rishita. Aside from some of her exaggerated qualities, I can relate to her in many ways. Material items do hold importance to me but at the same time I can go to any length for those whom I love. I am a practical no nonsense person and I believe I deserve the best. Although, I won’t eye something that belongs to someone else and I have worked very hard to reach where I am. I love online shopping but I am a huge advocate for financial independence. I can go on and on 😆 oh and I hate when someone bangs on the bathroom door and sometimes I say things that can be too blunt/brutally honest and a tad bit mean 😆

The character I relate to the least is Dev. Because he is Dev 😆

Rishita is the most practical and real one I feel. She finds wrong as wrong and right as right. She questions the things she doesn’t understand. Although she seems to question these stuff a bit rudely and feels selfish to me, I still say in that family she is tethered to reality more then the others

Great post.

I actually relate a lot to Krish. Like him, being the youngest, I am cracking jokes at the wrongest time and left out of serious discussions most of time.

Interesting poll!! If I put my favs aside, as a character, I think Suman and Gautam are more relatable, we still have people like Suman, who are straight rude to people they hate and are extremely caring towards the people they love and would never fear from pointing out mistakes of their loved ones.. My grandfather is almost like her, just that he has a little bid ruder version of Suman. These people have progressive thoughts and some old school thoughts as well...

Again Gautam as the eldest one in the family.. For me, he kinda reminds me of all Dads, isn't that how they exactly are!

I might be among the minority here, but people like Dev do exist, dumb founded in a serious situation, follow elders blindly (here, he did admit his love for Rishita tho). And there are husbands who donot stand up for their wife even when the wife's self-respect is at stake. Apart from most of his nalayak qualities due to lack of proper writing, his love for the family is pure ❤️

All this is purely from my experience of the people I've seen 😆

I agree with being left out of serious discussions😆

If I ever opened my mouth in those discussions, I would get ‘Tu fir boli Maahi version’.

Even I do. Rishita doesn’t live in her la la land

Definitely Rishitha- while I don't cry about partiality, I completely relate with her bewilderment with the family 🤣

My maayka has very serious people, and I grew up in a very serious, often morose atmosphere. ( my beat friend was a complete goofball- my only escape growing up 😆 My family disapproved of her 🤢)

Cut to my marriage- My in-laws are chill pro max. My husband and his extended family(maternal cousins mostly) are a raucous bunch- exactly like Shiva+Krish. In the intial days of the marriage I was so befuddled by the outpouring of love and laughter, the longs discussions on food, and was irritated by their jokes and pranks. Lots of DevTa like situations 🤣 It took me a while to trust that people could be so chill and happy.

Also, hate cooking(my husband does the heavy cooking work) so when in laws or anyone else comes they take over kitchen work 🤣 I ofcourse do other work like laundry and stuff. But totally relate to Rishitha's cooking misadventures too. Same taunts also 😆( husband does the taunting)
