THE GUILT

He held the glass of water real tight looking at her innocent sweet face offering his family tea and snacks

She had no complains

Not at all

Not when she was sacrificed to marry him

And not now when

Fateh!

His thoughts were interrupted by his darling mother's voice.

Pakodey khalo

He took a few bites and ate them half heartedly still thinking about her words

Fateh !

Tumhey move on karney ki zerurat nehin !

Tum uskey sath patch up karlo pehle!

Phir hum family sey baat karlengey!

Dont worry!

The guilt!

The words affected him so badly that he could barely eat or drink the past 24 hours

Is she for real!

She wants me to patch up instead!

No need move on!

She was fast asleep . No need to move on! He kept thinking

His eyes searching for the green file on the cabinet

Sir!

New equipments has just arrived!

His assistant interrupted his search

He tested the equipments and nodded for its quality followed by leaving his signature on the sale and purchase agreement

It was lunch time and she has not come yet

Where is she!

His answer came with buzo who said calmly

Tejo busy thi so she's not coming!

Aisey kaisey busy !

She's my lunch partner!

He frowned

His fingers desperately dialling for her number on his phone to which buzo snatched away rudely

U have to move on from tejo!

Otherwise how u going to patch up again with jasmin

The guilt!

He could barely eat his lunch. Damn ! How nice it was if she was here!

His eyes wandering for her in the kitchen . She was no where in sight. Where is she!

He was getting anxious as she refrained herself from him the past 48 hours

A bouquet of red roses on the desk at the bedside

When u meet jasu tonight!

Give her the flowers!

She likes roses!

The first step to patch up tip given by his innocent sweet wife to him

He frowned

Is she for real!

God ! I cant do this

His thoughts interrupted by jasmin who was excited to meet him that night

He was listening to her sweet talks but was not being able to pay full attention

The guilt!

There she was. He disconnected the line to give her a hug

Was missing her badly!

To his horror

She pushed him away!

Wife or lover!

U will get only one from now on!

She smirked and rushed out. He followed from behind holding her back

U are my wife !

I have every right to touch u !

She pushed him away once again

Not when u still feel for ur ex!

Walked away towards the kitchen

Furious he followed again but was interrupted by kushbeer's voice from behind for some personal work

His eyes still set on her who was busy in the kitchen as he walked away towards his car alongside his dad

The guilt!

She was ignoring him and he could feel the pinch there and then

Dressed in pink salwar kameez she was smiling to herself as he ordered their meals

Plan working !

My innocent sweet sister gave in finally and even decided to help me to call off my marriage with gippy

Little did she realise that the older sister was playing her owm games to own her husband

Twist in the tale!

Tejo planned a game of reverse psychology to make

her husbamd move on naturally by himself without any further support

And buzo his good friend lend a hand by joining her husband for meals so she could get away

Refrain herself!

He was puzzled as he had all chances of pulling her closer but he could feel the restlessness

I am a married man now!

For Godsake!

She offered him for a dance which he reluctantly gave in

She rested her head on his chest and her warmness was disturbing him

The guilt!

She was fast asleep as he walked towards the room

Frowned as he saw her note

Tomorow cant have lunch together

Days passed she spoke less

Took interest on notes instead

No more hugs and lunch dates

Instead now dates fixed with his ex

Couldnt get the emotions in him

He was not happy

The guilt!

She should play the same game

Of reverse psychology

She has fallen hard for him

Perhaps would not give up this time

And this drama can be stretched to cancelling jaspy marriage and tejo demanding for a divorce

Tejp devised her own plan

And even if it's not her plan

Jasfa reunion will only bring fatejo closer

Fateh's guilt will do the wonders!

I liked the whole concept of reverse psychology by Tejo, how I wish we could get to see this in the serial too...

Is this a One shot..? Are you gonna write more..? Would love to read more to know how Fateh will realise the difference between Obsession and Love.

Lovely great as always but uh-huh I'm over fateh not that I ever liked him . This show reminds me off a marathi serial called julun yeti resham gathi. The show was really praised for it's realistic portrayal of relationships and how small misunderstandings if nipped at the bud can prevent strain in relationships. In that show the FL loves another guy but is forced to marry the ML. The male lead has no idea about her being forced into the marriage as he loves her but he when she reveals it one their first night he is devastated but handles it with maturity. He gives her space and at first she irked at his behavior when anybody else at his place would have thrown her out of the house defaming her but he is firm with his stand that he loves her but also has self respect hence he never forces her to move on nor does he beg her to love him, he just gives her time at times even making her realize that even he is suffering and that just because of her love she can't be blinded and turn away from reality. he just remains himself being a true friend who pulls her out of self pity and her meekness.They begin to become friends with her still pinning for her ex but with his support she begins to moveon and realises how madly in love she is with him. And after the confession the maturity and growth in her character was amazing and praise worthy rarely seen on hindi TV. Where it's just plotting and degrading each other. What I loved about the show was how realisticaly they showed the growth between the lead pair . There where no villains and no plotting on-the-go show just a study of how human relations work. Marathi TV has given some amazing shows like the one I spoke about then agnihotra on Hindu traditions and our believe in in reincarnation one of the best scripted shows ever. Then chuk bhul dyavi gulabi, eka lagnachi dusri goshta,vadalvaat etc hindi TV could never pull of something like that unless it's the old comedy classics like sarabhai vs sarabhai, khichadi or dekh bhai dekh or flop show but none in any other genres no wonder marathi industry is way ahead in terms of story line or acting not that we haven't made crap shows we have but we also have some exceptional masterpieces. how I wish hindi TV would but I dare not cause they would ruin the show like how they ruined the essence of sairat after remaking it into dhadak. But the show julun yeti resham gathi is one of the most loved shows even now in Maharashtra even though it got over six years ago. Especially it's title track beautiful. I hope we see such growth in fateh but not that I have any high hopes with his character. But would love to see him mature and learn to value himself and his relationships.

Fateh only gonna move on when he'll see he is losing Tejo... filhal he is in his lala land that Tejo is always with him ... the day he'll realize that his dear friend is his wife too and he is losing her in his foolishness, he gonna do everything to bring her back ....

I love how you used reverse psychology on Fateh, Tejo is a psychology professor she should at least do something similar!! 😆
