I'm disgusted with Virat's patriarchy!

Okay. I've always bashed Virat but this is something I can't digest at all. It triggers me to no level. He being a man can behave however he wants & not draw a close boundary with his woman bhabhi cum ex and share this kinda proximity with her inspite of being married to Sai but all heal breaks loose when Sai talks to any man or has male friends in college. What kind of double standards this is? Which era is this? Idk how can people justify this. Imagine the amount of sl*tshaming Sai would be facing probably Ayesha too on SM, had Sai behaved this way with another man in presence of him despite being married to Virat. Just because he's the ML how conveniently he gets away from everything

I agree with you... sometimes I want to teleport through the screen and beat the crap outta him... he's clearly jealous and doesn't know how to express it clearly but double standard behavior is not tolerated... especially with KBA in the picture given full freedom to invade his private space.... if sai shares with a man friend, she is scrutinized? I mean Sai is not stupid.. she knows her limits....but virat..whole other level

Its crystal clear that Virat has double standards. He allowed and encouraged his ex cum bhabhi cum whatever to walk in their room whenever she liked, bash Sai even in front of him and Sai however she liked. He let the psycho bully his wife and all under the name of friendship. He gets to forgive the criminal family as ML. I mean drugging a human being for 10 years, stealing a child and dumping it as per their liking. separating family etc are heinous crimes and he let them all pass despite is aware of them. Anyways, I avoid the show. I can't watch ITV for a long for the same reason. MLs are MCPs and FLs are doormats. Sai was different and so was Virat, but they have changed characters of both and I don't like it!!

I never liked Virat for his double standards behaviour I mean he can actually let his ex to interfere in his married life and Sai can't even talk to her male classmates wah bhai wah!!!! When Sai questions him suddenly his wife become "behuda sawal" karne wali anyways I have stopped watching this serial after Sai Pakhi Virat face off over Vada Drama

I've already said this and I'll say this again, the way Virat is written is making me hate him seriously. This guy has such disregard for the woman he claims to love. Worst off how he was a introduced as progressive but makers made me the typical dumb ML of ITV for cheap zillat Arena. I only watch this show for sai tbh.

This bahbhi prem devar is pathetic. He disgusts me to core. He who had questionable behaviour with his bhabhi is now controlling his wife for normally talking to his wife. How dare he say he is her guardian. He masked his past under a bff relation, made pakhi interfere in his relationship and even now is confused between biwi and bhabhi

I understand it is double standards. I will wait before I conclude whether he is a controlling person or not . He grew angry in the Aniket’s case too, asked her not to dance but later asked her how her performance was going or how Aniket was. His anger in jealousy looked momentary back then and even now. The dialogues were definitely screaming controlling behavior, but what about his actions. He was jealous but he did watch his wife dancing on the stage. He was being a sport. How do you interpret those as? He asked her not to talk to male friends I agree, but again it looked like out of jealousy and momentary. We need to wait and watch if he controls her or stops hers from talking to a male friend or makes it an issue. If not, it is just a jealousy that comes out momentarily. I would personally wait and watch to see how he behaves or reacts.

Only thing I feel is that Virat should reflect on his own actions, should try to look into his relationship with Pakhi whenever he has issues with Sai moving with guys. In general, people who get clouded by emotions can hardly think about what they did, so it is quite natural for him to have not thought about it once. But if he keeps getting disturbed, then he has to think about it.

Everything need not be about patriarchal views I feel. It could or could not be. He does have a few patriarchal views but many of his reactions are because he doesn’t seem to have control over his emotions. He acts irrationally only when he has no control over his emotions and jealousy/insecurity is also one of those.

Virat's jealousy is pretty uncomfortable for me, maybe because I know that when he puts his thoughts in words, it made Imon attempt suicide. They present it as something funny and cute, something which is a representation of his love, the dialogues he gets are worse. How is it positive when he is thinking it but negative when he says it out loud?

It is not about what he does with Pakhi, even if he didn't have anyone like Pakhi around him, these restrictions are problematic
