Jasmine stood in front of the mirror in her room. Staring at her wrists intently. They felt so light, so incomplete as if there was something missing. The same feeling had slowly crept into her heart as well. The void would not be filled until she got them back...they can't just take them away from her. It was hers, it is hers and will always be hers. How easily had the Virks snatched it from her and gave them to Tejo.

Her fists clenched in rage, she will take back what is rightfully hers. She will not let Tejo have them no matter what. If it meant she had to go to the ends of the earth she would do it. They are hers. The Kangan are hers.

She still remembered how this morning when she had barged into the Virk mansion to meet Fateh. Dadi had held her hand to stop her. That was the fateful moment she also noticed the kangan on her wrists. They looked so beautiful, so perfect as if her wrists were designed for the kangans itself.

But then that Nimmo Maachi had held her down while dadi and gurpreet remove the kangans from her wrist. They had then passed them to Fateh, asking him to make Tejo wear it. Her heart burned as Tejo's wrists slipped through the kangan. It was a complete mismatch. A bad jodi. It was only her that the kangan looked good with. Not Tejo and so she had to get it back.

That is when her elaborate plan of stealing the kangan started. She had drawn up a blue print of the Virk house. The kangan were always on Tejo's wrist except for when she went to take a shower. After extensive stalking she realised that Tejo always had a shower early in the morning, between 7-7:30 am. That was it. Her 30 minute window to retrieve the kangan.

But she couldn't do this alone. She has to rope in someone else to secure both her entry and and exit from the house. The person needed to also cover for her, keep an eye out. It was then that the name struck her....Amrik!

Jasmine carefully broached the plan. At first Amrik had looked at her as if she had lost all her screws but after some coddling, bribing and convincing he had agreed. Jasmine offered to become his bhabhi if he helped which had made him pounce on this opportunity.

Jasmine had then smirked to herself, bhabhi my foot. Who was interested in marrying into that mad house? Why would she want to marry Fateh? Tejo and Fateh can be together she didn't care. All she wanted were the kangan.

Tomorrow morning this plan was going to go into action. She had packed all her essentials and with that she whispered words of encouragement.

"Keep calm my dear kangans I am coming for you, I will rescue you from Tejo's wrists and bring you back where you belong...on my wrists!"

Lol please do write more. I'd have said that someone is so obsessed about kangans, it doesn't feel right. But then it's chameli, so you can't expect her to have common sense.
