also it is kinda adorable the way amma is holding on so tight to imlie it is like she is her amma and not her imlie's woh drawing strength from her in mid of accusations it clearly shows how her entire existence is imlie and her center of universe.. her taakat her himmat so when she says that she means it

Frankly, the entire situation is puke inducing. Everyone is related to everyone and two sisters are married to the same man. I cannot even say with confidence that what the makers have planned next will do justice to Aditya and Imlie because that is what the last two months have reduced us audience to. They will turn Malini into some sort of cornerstone for pretty much everything while she is in reality a withering weasel who does not have the guts to accept that she is Aditya’s second wife.

As long as they give ST and GM some meat to work with, I will take it. As long as they can refocus to Imlie’s journey, I will take it. For now, bracing myself for an arduous journey of didi jaap 🤢

THIS! Such a royal pukeworthy khichadi this has been with everyone being related to everyone and the husband sharing between two sisters. I understand that "sab chalta hai" for the sake of drama but the real life consequences of such situation is just unthinkable. Keeping focus on the show here though, you're right, I cannot say which way makers are planning to steer this story as far as justice to Adi-Imlie is concerned.

I am sorry, but I am having very hard time sympathizing with the M character or relate to that actor. Enough has been said about her but her sheer presence on the screen makes me want to forward the scene. And for the life of me, I cannot understand makers' insistence of ghusaoing her deliberately where she's absolutely not needed, which is pretty much everywhere now. She had a part to play to make Adi realize Imlie's place in his life and his true feelings for her, but that part is now over. By constantly keeping her in the focus, especially when her part is not crucial for the main story to progress, I believe they're doing injustice to the character too. She does not have the presence of a typical vamp but I can't help but react vampishly seeing her on screen.

Nice post as always AY. You focused on the two people who emote so well despite having hardly anything to say throughout.

When you do not need high strung music in the background or heavy duty dialogues to express what the character is going through, it says a lot more about the caliber of acting than the story itself. The truth reveal itself had a sense of anti-climax to it but what elevated it all is ST and Kiran. I wish Aditya reminds Imlie again that she is Satyakam’s daughter, the one man who she could depend on throughout for 18 years. Her real father. No Dev in this world can ever replace him.

Thank you, MB ji 😆

You sound fatigued by the level of convoluted in the story now. Haha your fatigue is understandable😆….yes, everyone is related to everyone and we kinda saw the cross connections coming. It’s the execution that decides whether this will be a hit or miss.

Adi-Imlie still continue to be the kamal in this keechad for now 😆….against all odds. Haha so we will take it one day at a time.

Didi banti rahe apne delusion mein cornerstone. It won’t change what the actual core of this story is. End of the day, Adi-Imlie keep finding their way to each other :)

Plus One just caz isko lagta hai she is the cornerstone and yeh sab kuch "handle' kar rahi hai doesn't make it the truth. we all know who is actually handling things and whose meherbaani it actually is i.e Kismat and Sitamother the actual Cornerstones here ... yeh aurat sirf apne khalaoyon main hireh sakti hai mehh

They are doing this coz this is how it was in the original story too 🤷‍♀️😂. So no matter the fact that it makes no sense to keep forcing Malini in everywhere, that is what will keep happening thanks to all these cross connections. Even as she’s no longer Adi’s wife, she’s still Imlie’s half sister and supposed BFF of Adi. lol so she will be forced in everywhere for contrivance.

She has no presence for anything. Vamp or otherwise. Bas spare part ki tarhaan padi hui hai story mein 🤷‍♀️😂…..for all the attempts to prop her up, she still isn’t able to evoke a genuine connect. Forward hi kar sakte hain after a point. Aur kya 🤷‍♀️😂

Same pinch.. her sheer shakal even for a nano sec makesme throw up the actions and everything else is toh baad ke bat hai she just induces sheer Pain and anguish to watch as a neutral person too the lack is conscious and self awareness is something else

At bold not really .. Sh ehad no part to play even in that. she hardly did that ..Adi realized his feelings on his own with no pushing from didi or anyone .. she never mattered with him or without him she could never hold him back to be with imlie he found his way to her and his Heart keptkeechoing towards imlie.. Didi has Absolutly nothing to do with it except that she was a burden he decided to uthao one day out of impulse and now suffering .. His feelings for imlie and love and decision to be with imlie are all his own choices and DIDI has No say never had ever... yeh kabhi na rok paayi na bhej paayi despite her bullshit thinking and na hi kabhi paayegi and am thankful for that ..

Hmmm....you do have an interesting take on her presence in Adi's life, which may very well be right. However, I took the need of her character there as for Adi to realize the stark difference between his feelings for her and the draw he felt for Imlie. He never loved M but he did not realize that till he fell in love with Imlie and my interpretation is that, if she wasn't there Adi might not have realized, for the clueless person he is, that he was actually falling for Imlie.

i see what you are saying but it is us the audience who can see the contrasts being set up.. adi still has not consciously realized or ever even had any self introspection of that sort about how he reacts in such polar opposite ways for imlie which is my point and they will never give him that.. i kind of am glad about it too but i wish thoda sa toh dikhate on that.. and again clueless adi picked up on call of his heart because it was true calling koi aur played nor ole in it.. their bond/connect was itself so strong that no outer party was needed for them to go through any realizations of true Love and their place in each other's life except themselves

Phooti kismat hamari...aur kya!

The interesting fact is, unless and until you literally see through all of her facades, you don't realize that she's not the victim here but rather a very shrewd & manipulative person.

I am not kidding, but I did not pickup on some of her character traits during my binge watching session till I read through previous posts and it was like a light bulb moment ki....oh bete ki...ye to badi hi chant hai!
