Nice post as always AY. You focused on the two people who emote so well despite having hardly anything to say throughout.

When you do not need high strung music in the background or heavy duty dialogues to express what the character is going through, it says a lot more about the caliber of acting than the story itself. The truth reveal itself had a sense of anti-climax to it but what elevated it all is ST and Kiran. I wish Aditya reminds Imlie again that she is Satyakam’s daughter, the one man who she could depend on throughout for 18 years. Her real father. No Dev in this world can ever replace him.

Frankly, the entire situation is puke inducing. Everyone is related to everyone and two sisters are married to the same man. I cannot even say with confidence that what the makers have planned next will do justice to Aditya and Imlie because that is what the last two months have reduced us audience to. They will turn Malini into some sort of cornerstone for pretty much everything while she is in reality a withering weasel who does not have the guts to accept that she is Aditya’s second wife.

As long as they give ST and GM some meat to work with, I will take it. As long as they can refocus to Imlie’s journey, I will take it. For now, bracing myself for an arduous journey of didi jaap 🤢

I even liked the way she ran through the rain today. She was not a "heroine" just running in the rain and crying, but a small child trying to escape the horrors of her past, running as fast as she can leaving all that mess behind, to an unknown destination. And finally the fall👏🏼 and how she looked straight at the mud that stained her body and hands before realizing to pick herself up. Just wow! For a girl of 17, she has such amazing potential. Its endearing to watch her play it all out!

word! t as i said too the Most Impressive part was imlie was not actually Using escapism she just wanted a temporary Stopgap to process to absorb.. it was evident in the way she had things playing in her head.. the horror was way too intense but she wanted time out for totally different reasons

This - as I mentioned in the WU thread, this is a great track to show Adi Imlie as a unit and to show how Adi helps Imlie in facing her insecurities- haan we might get extra behen prem and all that but as long as Adi and Imilie and them being a unit is the focus, we are good.

Also nish and pallavi knowing the truth will play a role and we might see them along with Rupi also helping Imilie through this storm- it would be great if they went that route.

From all the didi jaap shes been doing out of guilt, knowing shes her half sister, its only fair that she will seek out didi's validation but why Dev!?

But then it felt like, its not because with Dev she had a connection or anything but just because hes simply her biological dad! And the words he spat at her when she visualised him were not his words..they were Anu's. And she knew how spineless he is and will never be let to accept her as his daughter or that he has wronged Meeti. If we just look at it plainly is it not his validation most important to her?

@bold: Yes, I don’t think it’s about any real need for validation from Dev out of a sense of connection. This is sort of related to the backdrop of her being curious for so long about the man who fathered her and abandoned her mother. She isn’t really looking for his support and validation….but on a technical level, she is grappling with the sense of wanting respect and regard rather than being treated like an illegitimate daughter.

Her nightmares are always outlandish…the version of Aparna she imagined in her nightmares is crazy too. Lol yeah Aparna can talk crap but aisi cheap language toh nahin use karegi about gandi nazar and all. This is all just Imlie ka general guilt and insecurity talking.

Thanks for the caps Naadan🤗.

Man my poor bachi 🤗🤗💔🥺🥺

The effort She had to put is picking herself up from the rock bottom.. it really leaves me with a jaw dropping sense of aww how much stronger she is.. her whole world is crashing down yet that never resilience that sheer resilience she shows Wins you all over again.. Sheer Awesomeness and one for the keep sakes.. This is what Actually is the definition of "Nuances" and what you call a Performance

Imlie may fall down due to the obstacles life throws at her but she will always get up & get on with her life. I have been in awe of this never give up attitude of this young girl since the forced shaadi fiasco. She has suffered so much in such a short time in her life. If it would have been anyone else, they would have given up. But she never does. She endures the pain & then makes the best of her circumstances. She truly embodies the saying of when life gives you lemons make a lemonade. Her will to survive & rise above the circumstances, not wasting her time & energy in blaming others & victimising herself, the sheer dignity of her character makes her one of my fav FLs❤️.

p.s hate to say it here but still it is such a contrast to didi ji ka meltdown jahan woh laash ki tarah padi thi Devi maa ko daant ke and yeh bachi itna sab main bhi not blaming anyone she is not into that and bas isko apna innocence prove karna hai apni amma ka naam saaf karna hai instead of blaming Kismat, God ya koi aur.. unlike others who have to play Self Pity games and victimize themselves.. her goal being Maine kuch nahi kia which is true unlike the statement coming from somewhere else

Comparisons are inevitable. Even if you don't want to, the contrast between the 2 characters is so glaringly obvious. You don't know how hard I try to block out Didi, but you cannot help but be reminded of her when we see how Imlie tackles bigger hits from life in such a dignified manner without victimising herself when she is an actual victim. Imlie focuses on herself in a positive reinforcing manner rather than how Didi focuses on herself in a selfish, entitled manner.

💔💔 For her Breaking point reaching and her being so so vulnerable with enough and Kismat and life always testing her like this.. her not having itna sa bhi himmat anymore to deal with things and jhelo with zamane ki galtiyaan.. Absolutely Fantastic stuff from ST👏👏👏.. Even though she is At the end of her patience The absolute Grace and dignity and the sheer representation of self respect Bravo . the girl has such a Sophisticated Demeanor and it just comes across even more when she Handles such sensitive moments with utmost Class... such a joy watching her

ST was phenomenal in the breakdown scene👏. Her shock, disbelief at this turn of events, her strong defense that she & her Amma are blameless. It was sheer beauty to watch her breaking down at a core level.

Lovely caps NM. My fav one is when she gathers herself to sit again- beautifully portrayed by ST! Man the nuances she brings to this character is just 👏

We talked a lot about nuance yesterday- one look at these caps and we know what that word means!

And also love that when she feels a hand around her, she knows it’s her BS. - the understanding they have of each other is just beautiful 🤗🤗

Can’t wait for yeh continuation of this and see where this takes us!

caps from the Adi Imlie scene❤️

i maybe overexaggerating it a bit but i just can't with how i much i loved the fact that she just instinctively knew it is Adi and went to grab his hand for support trying to give her side of story the fear driving her and his opinion and thoughts mattering that nobody else but he needs to know and her saying whatever is in her mind so khulke dikhaooing him her vulnerable side like this to him calming her down with his humari baat suno like he always does to calm her nerves to comfort her .. it is so simple but it says so much every time. I just loved how she also put her hand across on the other hand of his needing all the comfort the physical connect aur bhi zyada.. and i might be overthinking and extrapolating but her wanting to hold onto tighter caz Adi is hers .. she cannot take the accusations and lose his trust and her so she only wants to give safaai to him too when he never asked caz it simply does not matter

i also am so dazed by the sheer range they have in a minute long scene👏👏👏and how they just elevate everything with sheer presentation.. The way this has such variations right from her panic reaction to her gathering herself up asking him ek simple sa sawaal with such childlike innocence ke aisa kyon hua why she is being put through these things over and over what has she done so wrong that the nature just keeps testing her to adi saying his sorry and her blank face in return to her absorbing it that wow you knew.. her shocked aapko pata tha and his yes.. 👏👏

i wish they did a clear dub though caz the baarish has made the audio unclear

You are right AY, I was trying to mean just that, wrong choice of words. It was just her insecurities, and sense of being "worthless" that Anu spewed on her. I mean "validation from Dev" who would want that! 😂 But yes, shes been searching for this guy all her life, she will need him to least of all apologize to her and Meethi properly.

I guess tomorrow we will get to see BS pulling her up literally and metaphorically from the 'mud' and try to make her understand how it will not matter to him even the slightest if she is Dev's or someone else's daughter. And that she should be least concerned about anyone's validation.
