Not short for India though - just avg or a bit above avg. That's just the avg and there's big discrepancies between region, wealth and age but every man over 5'10 with most over 6' - are all male posters from The Netherlands?

Men - 166.3cm / 5 ft 5 1⁄2 in
Women - 152.6cm / 5 ft
I have my doubts on this because very rarely do I see women shorter than 5 feet. Then how is 5 ft the average height?
I feel that they also included children in this survey. The adult average must be around 5'3.
In theory maybe, but mirror tells me something else.

168 cm when I went for hospital check up. I think it means 5.5 and 1/2.

- You can wear any heels that you want

You will always stand out, literally, amongst your friends. And have to crouch for getting a decent picture, so much that it becomes second to your nature when posing for the pictures.😳
You always have to customize clothes as readymades can never fit - which means spend more money for the same stuff.

Used to LOVE wearing heels but never could but I overcame that now and relish wearing heels and becoming , literally a towering personality. Man how much I love intimidating some wussy men who cannot even bear to see a woman taller than them.lol
Most of the boys get intimidated and don’t even come near - advantage as well as a disadvantage.
And a lot more I had to face growing up which I don’t remember but now I have learned to take full pride and advantage of my height.😎

Probably because this new data only counts adults 19-39 - so the newer generations who've benefited from better nutrition. Then again 65% of India's population is under 35 with the avg age of 29 (really young).
