Jai Maharashtra chant????

It might be an unpopular opinion but I mean what was with the Jai Maharashtra chant and its not the first time.

why not Jai Uttaranchal or Jai West Bengal or Jai Goa or Jai Bengaluru or Jai Andhra Pradesh, Jai Rajasthan.....most of all why not Bharat Mata ki Jai or Jai Hind

I am annoyed with the constant Jai Maharashtra chant. High time the makers stick to what Indian Idol is all about....INDIA and they need to stop playing regional bias.

It's like they are making sure contestants from Maharashtra get promoted .

This regional based appreciation and biases need to be nipped at the bud and singers should be lauded purely on singing alone.

I hate regional bias in reality shows!!

I too find it odd n unnecessary but never paid much attention to it idk how n y until now

N it's actually unethical n unconstitutional to say such things on national television n on one of the most popular n influencing show!

What do they want to achieve with this statement n this promotion strategy is really bad , it's actually influencing people to think that Maharashtra n its people are superior (like a socioeconomic stigma) without them realising it.

N they say it on only sayali's performance or for AK or Anjali too ??

Right now Maharashtra has shiv sena government in power...and that is the reason for chanting 'jai Maharashtra'...just to please the ruling party.

Frustrating is whoever chant this slogans they r all grown up adult..but I guess adults r more behave like immature ..its country not particular state is playing soccer or baseball with other state ..its whole 1 india ..all contestants r indian not from different countries🙄..this is a simply common sense, is it very difficult to understand? seriously 😖!!! But those chant from a barbie doll was a hilarious 🤣

Also I think for Ashish only they go like Maharashtra ka sher. What about sayli she's also marathi, so let's do maha ki sherni for her as wel. Similarly uttarakhand ka cheetah,bengal tigress, whatever the rest of state animal of contestants😆

Indian idol nhi hai ye hindi idol hai catering to a particular region. Also the as usual marathi buttering. Saw in big boss too
