Previously, the Amma-Raghav reconciliation is the one that I most wanted to watch but I gave up on that with the change in actor and character. The tattoo on Amma's arm just felt very superficial to me. Why make show of having Raghav's name on there when she doesn't seem to have the warmth and care for him that he needs and deserves. I get her doing this for Keerti but just because Raghav followed her instructions, she's now ok with everything and decided to ink his name permanently on her wrist? Come on! Aisa conditional pyaar woh deserve nahin karta. He does so much for everybody, he is crazy about his family... what's this?

I'll repost here the only thing that I liked in today's episode and frankly the only track that I have been looking forward to of late.

Raghav and Ayi scene... Very symbolic, easily the best part of the episode.

She said she didn't want to cut the watermelon because it was a gesture from Pallavi, but probably also because it's he first (healthy) present from her damaad. The way she wanted him to be careful when jumping off the TV. Also, her delicately asking to use him as a human ladder to fix the clock.

Him fixing the clock = new time, new phase in their lives, Raghav removing what is not working/stalled in her life, especially. The way he stopped, gently held her hand and called her Ayi... I was so touched in that scene because of how simple it was. Something stirred in Ayi and Raghav both. We've never seen him share that warmth with his mother, and I really hope this is just the start.

Milind thinks Ayi doesn't like Raghav, but he has no clue how wrong he is. I could see a lot of care in her eyes for Raghav, and how she deliberately asked him to do such as small thing for her to get a change to build bridges, to reciprocate what he was trying to do and to give him a chance as well, in her own way. Otherwise, fixing a clock isn't mission critical that she can't wait till others return home. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but when Raghav called her Ayi, he really meant it, he had tears in his eyes and he reached out to her genuinely as one reaches out to his mother, not just because he's married to her daughter. I think he in turn also awakened the maternal feelings in her that she would have had for Mandaar and might in unexpected ways help heal her trauma of losing her young son like that.

Interesting how Raghav and Pallavi were bonding with their respective mothers. Frankly speaking, I am liking the cross dynamics and I prefer to see Raghav-Ayi and Pallavi-Amma interactions more than the other way around. I think after Raghav lets Sanki go, Ayi will warm up to him even more. I guess the next scene coming up is Raghav taking Pallavi to meet Ayi and reconcile genuinely but once again, the sad part is that only Raghav knows the value of all this, how important it is in the grand scheme of things. He's not just doing this for Pallavi but also because he wanted this for himself not long ago, to reconcile with Amma, something he has only done superficially. He has been there, and suffered for years, and I am sure no one except Farhad has any clue as to the loneliness eating him alive. I have a feeling Pallavi leaving will hurt him even more because for once he has started forming a bond with someone that is not based on conditions, whether or not he realizes it.

I agree with this 100 percent.

I don't like how they ruined Amma's character. Since the actor changed they changed the character too. I don't think if it was the old amma then she would melt towards Raghav this easily. During the mirchi scene, that care, that tension in amma felt so blah to me. Such a 360 degree turn. I was like, the whole ten years of resentment flew away just because he married Pallavi, or I don't even know how and when she changed, may be since the actor change but that's a big blunder CVS did. They atleast have showed her melting down slowly but this is so out of the character.I wanted to see what we are getting with Raghav and Ayi with Raghav and Amma but I lost hope but I still expect something happens and amma goes back to how she used to be and take her time to melt towards Raghav, forgiving him. Right now it feels that Amma hasn't forgiven him yet but just doing this for her peace of mind because she suddenly realized that she is responsible for how Raghav turned out. I really wanted she to show her love and care for him because I felt that if she has forgiven him years back and loved and cared for him then Raghav wouldn't have turned this Raghav Rao. But I'm not liking the way it's happening.

They are more concentrating on Raghavi which I understand but I do feel that, they have to turn down that a little bit and try to focus on their other relationships too. That's the only way they can grow, Raghvi not only need each other but also need other family members too to grow, but I understand that this will take time so I will wait, let's see.

And that Tattoo was hideous, not needed at all. It would be better if it was a small one but I hope, Raghav will feel bad seeing that, which will lead to a small emotional moment with him and amma.

I said in one of the threads last week how I'm loving the bond between Raghav and Aai though we are not getting any exclusive scenes of them but, since we are getting them I'm happy. I love and prefer Raghav and Aai scenes than Raghav and Amma, and Pallavi and Aai. They have that warmth which I miss with Raghav and Amma. Today when he called her Aai, my heart skipped a beat, this is my most favorite emotional scene till now because it was so simple and so impactful.

He knows the pain of staying away from mother and the pain of them not acknowledging you as because of the same he is trying so hard to make them meet. Last day when he asked her to forgive Pallavi my heart went out for them, how genuine he was. I love them both. ❤️

Sai was so good in those scenes, even aai also. In waiting for such scenes.

And he even addressed as Sharada Ji when she came to his room where as he address sanki and sasur Ji. I think Raghav is mocking sanki calling sasurji Ji, otherwise why can't he call Aai sasuma because, aai is not saas but aai. ❤️

One question to ask. Why do you guys think that ex gf that is currently plotting is from past when Raghav was 17. Uske baad ki bhi toh ho sakti Hai. Like Raghav had a friends with benefits relationship with this girl and she falls for him. She proposed him but he turned her down owing to 10 years ago past. He would have told her that he would never marry and she went away thinking Raghav Mera nahi toh kiska bhi nahi. But now Raghav is married to Pallavi who is a widow, and had love marriage (for the world). She hates Pallavi because Pallavi snatched Raghav from her. She hates Raghav because he broke his word of not marrying and falling in love

I am glad to see you feel the same way. Damaad se bete tak ka safar to Raghav ne aaj shuru kar diya, aur Ayi ne saas se maa ka safar shuru kiya hai uske saath. I love it how in a few moments he went from calling her Sharda ji to Ayi and that it didn't feel unusual, corny, or forced at all. When Ayi first went to his room to speak to him, they were both hesitant but Raghav realized immediately what her unspoken wish was. They are both very perceptive and very sensitive to other people. I don't know why people keep telling Raghav he doesn't know how to take care of relationships. Today was a prime example of something he managed to without knowing Ayi very well or for very long. They haven't even had many conversations so I'm glad the begin to exchange a few words, with the tacit agreement that it will tend to be when Sanki isn't around. I have a feeling they will have a lot of moments of silent understanding and will communicate without needing words. The coming tracks are going to be tough for both and I would want Raghav to have her as a silent ally.

I will stop expecting anything from Amma for now because I am extremely disappointed with the writers for what they've done to this character. She's being self-righteous in everything and I want to see if she's as ok with Keerti when she finds out about Sunny or some other kaand that will happen. The tattoo was not just hideous, it seemed too big for her wrist and felt more like she was showing off than maknig a meaningful gesture. Don't even get me started on her change in behavior towards Raghav. The moment he does things she doesn't agree with, I can expect that her behavior will change too. Somehow, I never got those vibes from Amma 1 but Amma 2 is a whole other person. I am also surprised that Raghav hasn't spent time thinking of the emotional distance between them, but then again I don't blame him. Since he got married, he's been dealing with one ultimatum after another and is racing against the clock to fix everything. Perhaps he will never be able to address this or the writers are just ignoring this for the sake of drama. I am glad, though, that he will get some maternal affection from somewhere.

While Amma may eventually talk to Pallavi about her painful past instead of bringing it out in front of Raghav, I would love to see him open up to Ayi about his personal battles one day. Even better if Ayi opens up about Mandaar and Raghav learns from her what kind of man he was and what a big void Ayi has in her life. They are perfect to heal each other, I feel. CVs, please please use this opportunity to show us a beautiful saas-damaad bond which then evolves into a mother-son bond. We don't get to see this kind of thing often but these two characters complement each other perfectly. Also, both are played by brilliant actors and have the much needed subtlety to execute this. The scene where he gently held Ayi's hand for a moment longer and softened his voice was a beautiful example of this, as was the way she lovingly and possessively looked at the watermelon as a peace offering and a request for a chance by Raghav to make a little place for himself in her life. ❤️

I know Amma will always be his first love, but I think if the writers play their cards right, Raghav will have a second mother who really understands him, accepts him, and loves him without conditions. She knows he's a gem and after today I hope she won't hesitate to express her affection for him. I won't be surprised to see that Raghav struggles with being unable to reach out to her later on when Pallavi and he separate, similar to what Pallavi is going through now. While he started out on this challenge to win them over for Pallavi's sake, he will find some real family along the way. I can't believe I'm saying this, but for now, this is getting me more excited than the Raos' non-existent reconciliation.

Pallu asking RRs past means they are definitely heading that way.

Cause for Pallu to fall head over heels in love with him she needs to know what made him like this.

Also everything between Amma and RR is so normal. But I do want a scene where something happens and Amma again taunts RR of the past. I want to see how Pallu will handle all that and him. And I don't want her finding from diary. I want RR telling her. Maybe just some thoughts for her to understand him from the diary but not the whole story. RR telling would be impactful and an emotional scene between them

Like enemy's enemy is a friend. 🤔

I agree with whatever you have written here Jean, word by word so I don't want to repeat it but will share something I feel.

Are the CVS trying to break that bond of Amma and Raghav?

In that tattoo, there was no Raghav but Raghu and kirti. I feel that amma will never accept the Raghav Rao, she will always keep the teenager Raghu in her heart. She hasn't forgiven him, I'm sure of that but will she ever be able to? I'm not sure about this. And the connection Raghav and Aai having is something he wanted from Amma but never got. I think aai will soon take over the place of his amma.

Jaya Rao is a sanctimonious woman which is one of my most disliked trait in a person along with hypocracy. And I think Sunny was introduced for this purpose, to show her that she is wrong. Today he reminded me of Raghav and in the past Aai has asked if Jaya will ever marry kirti off to someone like Raghav and that's answer was clear so I think Sunny was needed for this, to show Jaya was everything is not going to happen according to her. I want to see how she and Raghav is going to react.

And there was a scene where Aai giving up her magalsutra for pallavi, I loved that scene and today it made more sense to me. She gave up those to give Pallavi, and she was someone who wanted marry pallavi off in the whole d family, and today in the absence of her husband aai kind of accepted Raghav as her SIL, which means she approved the marriage. When time comes she will stand up for her, Pallavi and Raghav against VD.

I loved how she held that watermelon with full rights and with posseeviness. I won't be surprised if she grew possessive of Raghav in future, and I'm worried what will happen to this bond when Mandaar returns than what will happen to Raghi.
