Are the CVS trying to break that bond of Amma and Raghav?

Or just they don't want to mend it really?

In that tattoo, there was no Raghav but Raghu and kirti. I feel that amma will never accept the Raghav Rao, she will always keep the teenager Raghu in her heart. She hasn't forgiven him, I'm sure of that but will she ever be able to? I'm not sure about this. And the connection Raghav and Aai having is something he wanted from Amma but never got. I think aai will soon take over the place of his amma.

Jaya Rao is a sanctimonious woman which is one of my most disliked trait in a person along with hypocracy. And I think Sunny was introduced for this purpose, to show her that she is wrong. Today he reminded me of Raghav and in the past Aai has asked if Jaya will ever marry kirti off to someone like Raghav and that's answer was clear so I think Sunny was needed for this, to show Jaya was everything is not going to happen according to her. I want to see how she and Raghav is going to react.

And there was a scene where Aai giving up her magalsutra for pallavi, I loved that scene and today it made more sense to me. She gave up those to give Pallavi, and she was someone who wanted marry pallavi off in the whole d family, and today in the absence of her husband aai kind of accepted Raghav as her SIL, which means she approved the marriage. When time comes she will stand up for her, Pallavi and Raghav against VD.

I loved how she held that watermelon with full rights and with posseeviness. I won't be surprised if she grew possessive of Raghav in future, and I'm worried what will happen to this bond when Mandaar returns than what will happen to Raghi.

Dekh lo, sis, we are both thinking exactly the same thing. Just like Amma's love appears conditional, her temporary patching up with him does feel that way too. It will take one storm for this temporary truce to become null and void. Yes, Sunny's behavior yesterday proved to me that he was brought in for the reasons you mentioned. He doesn't seem like a shareef ladka from a shareef, wholesome family that Jaya would have wanted for Keerti. I feel as if she got out lightly considering the major impact she had on her son's life by forcing him to marry Pallavi. Her conveniently thinking it was by mutual consent was just ridiculous. Ab bhugte gi. She tells Raghav he doesn't get duniyadaari but I feel in many ways she's in a bubble of her own and hasn't learned to see beyond her anger, that things have changed and will continue to change. She will never accept Raghav Rao, she wants a 27 year old version of her 17 year old and I think with time we'll see the philosophical differences emerge that caused them to diverge a decade ago in the first place. She loves Raghav, but her pride gets in the way of letting go some of her prejudices.

I, too, hope Ayi fights for Raghav and always stands by him but she has to think of Sanki's health, and I don't blame her. If he were fit and fine, she would have openly accepted Raghav. Whatever... Raghav and she have this in common, they believe in words more than actions, especially when it comes to expressing their love and respect for people. Today's episode proved that again. Raghav has always recognized the mother in Ayi, he always treated her differently and with huge respect, even if he never interacted with her directly before. Even in the party when he was maligning Pallavi, his tone of voice and expression changed when he approached Ayi to ask about the shop's papers. He also noticed how she fought with Pallavi on the wedding day to tell her she would stand by her and would start a new life with her if necessary. She wasn't afraid to go against Raghav if it meant protecting Pallavi. These things leave an impact and the more I observe their dynamics the more I realize that Raghav is missing this big time from Amma.

That's the thing with biological relationships - you don't get to choose them, and you need to accept people as they are. Raghav does accept his Amma, he doesn't try to change her thinking and never forced her to accept him. Rather, he tried to change a little for her sake but something tells me he will be back to being RR and even more dangerous than before when he loses his patience with everything. Amma is forcing him to go against his nature. He's an adult, there's only so much he can adapt and bend. Also, we all know that no matter how much Amma threatened and coerced him, he wouldn't change for anyone unless he himself really wanted to. We saw that when he started to repent - more than for Amma and Pallavi, he did this for himself, to give himself another chance in life.

I never thought the watermelon gesture would have so much meaning and the way Ayi kept staring at it later, not letting Milind touch it even, was just endearing to watch. It was just for Raghav's sake and even if she didn't explicitly say so, it was pretty clear. Nice touch by writers. I want to see more such meaningful scenes instead of constant melodrama. It was refreshing.

Totally agree! Amma and the tattoo scene in general was USELESS just to bring sunny into their lives and for them to start hating him to show keerti sunnys relationship whivh i personally am not loving sunnys charavter right now at all so i want better for keerti.

@Bold : And you didn't want better for Pallavi? Sunny is a version of Raghav, more cringeworthy though. 🤣🤣

Edit: whatever happens we want Raghvi marriage. 🤣 don't forget this line. 🤣

Hi.. sorry to be intruding into your post. I understand that the shift in amma’s character is pretty jarring but i think the writers have made sure that raghav and amma’s bond hasnt really changed. They have not yet addressed their underlying issues.. its still all buried. Its just that post marriage , all their scenes have been with regards to pallavi. Nothing about their family.. there have been no keerthi-raghav scenes as well.. these three are not yet “family”. Addressing pallavi’s issues are of major concern and i think the two are going around about it..

raghav is just generally more at peace and happy with just having his mom and sister around.. he knows the ice has not yet been broken. Multiple times it has been stated to him that their staying back is for pallavi and not for him. He did refuse the honey from his amma if u see..

with regards to amma, i think the softening started in the mansi mehendi episode. The slap at mansi’s sangeet.. she realised she was at fault and made up for it by making him kheer and also raghav put forth and interesting question that does she not trust her own parvarish for the slap incident. That was the shift for amma. unfortunately the older actress got replaced at the exact shift time.
The whole family vibe of the kheer scene came bcoz raghav was happy he cleared pallavi’s name in the abortion kaand only to be reprimanded by his mom about his tactlessness in doing so. Raghav escapes from there quite immediatly saying he would apologise to pallavi. The next encounter was during keerthi photoshoot where raghav was bullying and his mom angrily sent him away from there. Post that the mms kaand and the tragedy brought the three together momentarily.. the need of the hour.. raghav is the only family they have and raghav stood upto the occasion. resentment anger all aside , these bonds of blood were never broken only severed. followed by raghav humiliating pallavi and pallavi became the entire source of conversation from then on..

As for inking raghav’s name, i think raghav would remain special to her since he was the first born. The feeling of motherhood raghav’s birth gave and raghav himself cannot snatch it away from her.

The new actress could not carry forth the resentment along with the softening something the older actress could do pretty well which is where the relatability is lost.

Sorry i just rambled a lot.. very jumbled thoughts.

You're not intruding. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😃

I am just hoping that they do address all the underlying issues and not keep it superficial. I hope the writers do not rush these key points that we've been waiting for since day 1 to see in more depth.

Yes, the relatability is lost but I am just not sure where they want to go with Amma's character in general.

But i always try to advocate that Raghav NEEDS to tone down a little and show his softrr side for pallu to fall for him and for her to see he is more than his anger. Soon when he gets angry she will find it hawt. You wait and watch smiley37 raghav sacrificing himself is only for pallu but even then he is clearly not doing a good job still having outbursts at D clans stupidity and his anger and don avatar us clearly still there like with the lawyer. He is presenting his softer side only for pallu.

Raghav toning himself down is fine as long as other facets of his character stay intact. I cannot stand the thought of seeing him as a henpecked husband.

Loveeee this! Totally agree i love the symbolism and agree that i want more of raghav ayi honestly. I could see raghav having a strong bond with her similar to how pallu makes her in laws her family, i could see raghav filling the void of mothers love through ayi and ayi doing same as she misses mandhar! When mandhar returns i could see sharda battling herself more here.

Now that I think about it, I would actually quite like to see Mandaar being revealed through Ayi's conversation with Raghav, maybe she shows him his pictures and he gets to know about Pallavi's late husband, what kind of person he was, etc. I want to see him get emotional because he can relate to his own trauma of losing his sibling and how Amma must have felt. At the same time, I want this to plant a seed of insecurity in him that remains dormant until Mandaar appears.

Beautiful point! Raghav knows the feeling and somewhere i also feel that his want to bring pallu back to her ayi and family is coming from his own pain which is where i WISH writers would focus more on! And exactly raghvi seperating will be key in raghav finally dealing with someone leaving him who he developed a natural bond with. smiley9

I want to see Pallavi happy to reunite with her family but also feel like things will never be the same. The cracks the scars should be something she never forgets. I also want her to feel that even if she's back with the Ds there's a void... Initially she might not be able to put her finger on it but later on I want her to realize that it's because she's grown attached to the Raos. Not just Raghav, but his mother and sister too.

Miss your posts girl! Im also pretty inactive in comparison to before but still want to see the OGs back around often! 🤗

I'm no OG, I joined the forum much later than most people, but thanks! 🤗 I don't write up analyses as much as I used to before, but maybe I should restart those as we are moving to an interesting phase in the story.
