Maybe the makers know that they have made a crap film which wasn't going to work at the box office anyway.

So they're releasing the movie at the worst possible time to blame it all on the pandemic, and keep the myth of Bhai's stardom alive.

Not gonna lie.. I'm so thrilled to see these crappy masala movies having to do an OTT dump. Can't wait for the same to happen to Sooryavanshi and 83. They will survive only if they have good content or else they will get trolled like Laxmi Bomb, Coolie No.1 and Sadak 2.

Now surya banshi should also release on OTT.

This was sold to Zee for for a reported 230cr months ago - theatrical, digital and satellite. They tried for a theatrical release first with OTT later but obviously that's not going to work.

He has Tiger 3 for next year (and I think another scheduled not including his cameo in Pathan) when shooting comes back so pushing this film into late this year or next year is going to create a log jam.

Akshay is probably going to wind up with at least a couple more releases going OTT because his completed films are going to be piling up.

Different type of films, different target audience, and different platforms.

Big Bull also only released on OTT. This movie is releasing in theaters as well, so the numbers from theater business would be there for everyone to see.

OTT numbers still can't be trusted fully.

Poor AB jr...couldn't even fully enjoy Big Bull being the biggest digital release for 2021 😒
