Wow how many singers Kalyanji-Anandji have introduced and changed their names. All those singers are famous in the world. I’m glad I’ve met them all. (Alka, Sunidhi, sadhana sargam and Kumar Sanu. I’m feeling blessed)

Kalyanji-Anandji gave him a chance for the film Jadugar (1989). In 1990 Nadin-Sravan got him to sing in film Aashiqui. He became popular after Aashiqui. It won him first play back singer award

I agree with you. I’m not personally a Pawandeep fan, but he sang exceptionally well this last episode. Such a drastic difference between his emotional performances and his robotic ones. I mean I understand him and Arunita have been by far the most popular contestants amongst the general public, but there were a lot of performances where I really questioned whether he’s deserving of making top 3.

However, if he sings with emotions like this more often, he could prove me wrong and be more deserving of all the credit he’s been getting everywhere.

Saw Sawai's latest performance, the original version as well.

Sorry to say but Sawai sounds like a jungli, very harsh to the ears, the original song is a bhajan sung by Mahendra Kapoor.

NitinKumar''s version II 10 comes close to the original sweet and soothing to the ears and sung with therav.

Sawai has sung it like a Rajasthani folk song with the words running into each other.

Sireesha has done playback for 1 of the tracks of 99 songs... the show should have acknowledged and be proud that she was their contestant...

They really should've congratulated Sireesha for this. It would have been so amusing to see that while the contestants that the judges praised to the ends of the earth were shivering, stammering, and outright crying at the sight of AR Rahman, our beloved most underrated Sireesha already did playback with him! 😆
