There is no reason why Aayi should feel that Pallavi's life is unfulfilled unless she marries again. Pallavi is young and ambitious about the store she is running and its her prerogative to decide if/when/whom she wants to marry. Vijay might have been trying to save Pallu from being paraded around people who were not as sensitive as baba and aayi to Pallu's feelings.

The fact is that I can see a biological father having the exact same reaction to the situation as Vijay in the RR-Pallu equation even if Pallu was never married before. So writing it off as his ego and selfishness just because he shares a FIL relationship with Pallu isn't fair.

I get what you are trying to say, but what I have written about Vijay is only from what I have observed in his words or actions!

I didn't completely write him off and really gave him the benefit of doubt until he tore the cheque! That was the last blow!

How can we conclude that Pallavi doesn't want to marry and the saree business is her only life motto! Had Mandaar been alive, she definitely wouldn't have been doing this! If at all marriage was never her life goal, she wouldn't have got married at a young age with the prospect of getting a whole family!

I really don't think Vijay cares about Pallavi's feelings ever since Raghav came into the picture! The sudden mistrust would not have emerged had he really brought her up! Ever since her tryst with Raghav, he has been nothing but judgemental about Pallavi.

Maybe it's just the actor, but how it is portrayed is a look of complete disgust, annoyance and disregard towards the girl whom he calls daughter! Not once did I see a sense of disappointment or sadness on being let down, only disgust and writing off Pallavi's efforts just because those efforts are linked with Raghav!

Also, I completely respect your opinion, but this is just mine!
