The Kite Runner, A 1000 Splendid Suns...Khaled Hosseini knows this stuff man..to make u cry buckets~ 😆 😉

Anna Frank-The Diary of a Young Girl --It sure didnt leave my eyes Dry anyway!😳
Les Miserables by Viktor Hugo-The first time I cried reading a book. The book which has left a profound affect on my being, more than mere words can xpress. 👏
and
The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky-I didnt Cry. If I say so, that will be a Disgrace to that book. I give it that high no other books can attain--It drove me to a state of delirium literally..I was absolutely choked and suffocated more than I wud ever have anticipated...U need to stay on ur guard against this man (bUt most of the time it doesnt anyway work bcoz he is such a writer who is so intend of driving u mad beyond belief)😉

'White Nights' and 'A Faint Heart' are two short stories which had my eyes burning.

PS: Am I sounding rather kiddishly idiotic If I say that I ccried at the end of "The Final Problem" from The "Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes" by Arthur Conan Doyle when he chose to kill the great super sleuth?!😳😳😳 stupid as I am (coz I have the entire Holmes collection and Knew that he was coming back in the "Return of Sherlock Holmes), I still couldnt resist it..it was quite instantaneous a reaction...😳

i dont think i've cried while reading a book but the saddest books i;ve read would be...

Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody... its a true story about Betty, who gets married to an Iranian muslim guy in the states and then they have a daughter. So they go on to Iran to visit the guy's family and its horrible! the condition in which the family lives and eveythting! So after going there, Betty realises that this was a trap. her husband brought her and her daughter here so that they could live there forever.i cant say anymore because i dont want to spoil it but its really sad the circumstances in which Betty goes through to save her n her daughtrs life and return back to US.

The 2nd book would be Slave. i forgot the author but its about this small africam muslim girl who was kidnapped, raped and then sold off as a slave to work in peoples houses!

A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. The ending is so tragic...until you read the last page u have no clue how the book is going to end and why the author gave the book the title. Because killing yourself is a stepping off that fine line of balance that keeps you sane.

The Constant Gardener...you have this suspicious the guy will get killed yet you keep on reading the book and hope not. It's sad he did not live to see the results of his probing into his wife's murder.

During my school study we had to read The Go-Between - a novel by L.P. Hartley! 😊 It was a tragic ending, and made me sad because the main character had to suffer alot as a child! 😭 😕

Leo Colston was psychological affected by what he had witnessed as a child! 😕 During a summer holiday trip to his friends house!

And this novel was sad, as he formed this negative view about life, as he grew up to become an elderly man.
