Yeah, it's really sad that there are barely any original stories, no matter what industry you look into. Everything's either a remake, a sequel, or an adaptation. Even with books, despite having original ideas, so many books these days are retellings of classics or myths, or they end up being published fanfiction. (I'm pretty sure Heated Rivalry falls into this category, as Scott and Kip are literally Stucky.)
