yes there is that law

my maid's husband ran away with another women after 3 years of marriage. she filed missing person report in police and used to give ad in paper for all these years but he was never found.Now after 7 years he is legally declared as missing/dead person and all his properties were given to his legal wife and she is free to marry another person because the marriage is annulled as per law. if he comes back he has no right on his properties and wife.
