bondita extended her hand to wipe his tears.. while anirudh looked at her as if to make sure she was for real standing there.. Bondita looked at him eye to eye and caressed his hair with out giving any expression... Anirudh looked on.. scared at not getting any reaction on Bondita's face.. his guilt didnt let him speak.. while bondita moved from there without speaking anything.. he saw her worriedly as she approached to temple and started her pooja.. anirudh looked on as she did all the pooja without any distraction or expression.. tears rolled on his cheeks as he was helplessly looking at her trying to analyse what happened to her..

meanwhile bondita completed her pooja and moved to kitchen.. anirudh was unable to keep calm and rushed to the kitchen.. bondita started preparing breakfast and her face still had no expression.. unaware of him watching her she continued doing her work and finished it in time...

outside in the living room binoy and trilochan were silently sitting unable to understand how to handle the situation at home... when bondita came and started arranging the dining table for breakfast.. trilochan saw this and noticed her silently doing all the work without chattering or doing any mischieves... her expressionless face made him worried too.. he expressed binoy to notice her and they both looked on confused.. bihari came running to bondita and helped her in arranging... he asked her to go and get ready for school as he will take care of rest of the things.. she nodded and silently walked to her room... in few minutes she came out of her room all ready in her school uniform.. took blessings of her confused elders watching her worriedly but unable to ask anything.. bowed her head to her dugga ma and walked out for her school... trilochan was disheartend... he wiped his wet eyes and approached the temple and asked for forgiveness for hurting a pure innocent soul like this and asked for blessings and to make things right in this house.. then headed towards anirudhs room only to find he was not there..

anirudh was sitting at his peacefull secret place near lake...

I am sorry Bondita..i am sorry for what i am making you feel today.. i dont want you to love me.. i dont want you to get distracted.. he mumbled to himself..

"so you are here" Trilochan asked standing behind.. Anirudh turned and saw him with his tearfull eyes.. he stood up and wiped his tears " i wasnt feeling good at home so.." explained anirudh.. "bahu didnt had her breakfast neither took her tiffin box with her" said Trilochan.. "she didnt even had her dinner last night" he continued..

Anirudh looked at him..

"chalo maanlia.. zimmedari hai wo tumhari.. par tum bahut laparwah ho" he said looking at Anirudh.. Anirudh bowed his head down "ek choti bachi ka dhyaan nahi rakhske tum.. badi badi batien krte ho na tum? dekha tumne usko.. na has rahi hai na bol rahi hai aur na hi kuch khaa rahi hai.. hum keh dete hain tumhe agar hamari bahu ko thdi si bhi takleef hui to hum bhool jaenge k tum hamare bete ho" said Trilochan walking off in anger..

Anirudh wiped out his tear and closed his eyes with guilt

Anirudh knocked on bondita's room asking permission to enter.. he gathered lot of courage to make his mind to talk to her and explain in a soft way.. hoping she will understand..

getting no response from her he slowly opened the door determined that he will talk to her at any cost.. but to his dissapointment she was not there.. nor were her books/things..her bag even it was missing.. his heart started racing..Bondita left him? asked he to himself.. he hurried outside shouting for Bondita and if some one has seen her... everyone gathered listening to his shouts.. when bihari came forward and replied shivering in fear.." malik.. bahu rani.." he could barely speak due to fear.. and showed him towards the servants quarter.. anirudh frowned and slowly inspected it.. he was relieved finding bondita there but at the same time heartbroken seeing her sleeping on a mat with her bag filled with all her precious belongings and books kept near her.. he couldnt understand what Bondita wanted to do.. he wanted to wake her up and ask her.. but bihari stopped him... "chote malik maaf karna lekin bahu rani ne bola tha k agar hum apko ye bataenge to wo yahan se bhi chale jaegi.." anirudh clenched his fist and teeth unable to understand what he should do..

The very next morning Anirudh who have been waiting whole night outside the servant quarter for bondita to come out have fallen into sleep unknowingly... when Bondita came out for her daily work and routine she saw him sleeping while sitting on the floor in the hall with his back resting on the chair..As if he was invisible for her she walked away to complete her work..

After a while when anirudh was disturbed in his sleep suddenly open his eyes and searched for Bondita only to realise that he had mistakenly fallen into a deep sleep and she left for school... his heart ached.. but the first thing which came to his mind was did she eat anything or not.. he inquired it with Bihari for which he got a negative answer... "do din se usne kuch nahi khaya" mumbled him.."chote malik aapne bhi to.." bihari tried to complete..

"Khaenge hum dono sath milkar hi khaenge" said a determined Anirudh..

Bihari walked away in dissapointment..

Anirudh came to his study where his and Bonditas pic was hanging.. he took it in his hand and caressed Bondita in it...

"Tum jab roothti ho to lagta hai sab kuch rooth gaya hai" cried Anirudh..

He heard a knock over his door.. assuming it to be his Kaka he answered "ajaiye"

"Anirudh babu" a female voice ringed in his ear.. "Manorama" he mumbled and turned to face her.. "aap yahan?" He asked..

She came near him.. "us din jo kuch bhi hua.. ek baat kehna tha" she said.. "boliye" said him in a confused voice.. " woh.. aap bondita.. apki patni nahi maante.. matlab mera" she was running short of words... " Manorama kya kehna chahti jo bejhijak kaho" encouraged Anirudh.. "mujhse shaadi kroge?" She asked.. Anirudh couldnt believe what he heard.. "kya?" Asked him..Anirudh was confused with the situation.. "ab kaunsi yojna hai tumhari?" He asked.. "yojna nhi hai.. tumne bondita ko apni zimmedari smjha hai tumhi ne kaha k pati patni jaisa rishta tum dono k bich kbhi nhi hoskta to kya tum mujhe wo patni ka rishta nibhane ka avsar doge?" She asked. Anirudh was taken a back

He took a deep breath.. "Manorama yahan se abhi jao.. abhi kuch b baat krne k lie mansik roop se tayyar nhi hoon me" he said.. manorama nodded and walked away.

"Bondita mujhse baat krlo bas sab theek kardunga me" he cried holding his head as it was aching...

Evening Bondita returned from her school and headed towards servant quarter when she was stopped in the middle by Anirudh..

Bondita looked at him in confusion and tried to escape from the side.. but Anirudh had no intension to let her escape

"We need to talk"commanded him.. Bondita didnt care of what he was saying and tried to move from there ignoring him.. but Anirudh held her hand firmly and shouted " bas Bondita kya batana chah rahi ho tum" he shouted. Bondita felt blurring out of vision and underwent sudden loss of her conciousness Anirudh held her on time and shouted for everyone to get help..
