Please!!! I dont think writers can actually come up with someone plausible to justify aastha leaving Shaurya. What is with Shaan? He wants shaurya to just accept aastha as his mother just because they share blood? What duties as a mother did aastha fulfill to deserve shaurya's love and respect? Shaan on the other hand has no right to say anything to shaurya considering he failed as a father too. After listening to her comments during her discussion with Shaan in library, I can't empathize with aastha. I really hope shaurya is not forced to accept aastha. If he accepts her, it should be organic and not just something that happened out of the blue for an illogical reason. So far aastha and Shaan can be all high and mighty they want for the outside world but they lost the battle in their own family when they failed shaurya. Shaurya is not acting like a 20 yr old. It is a normal reaction of an emotionally damaged guy who is being forced to accept a woman who abandoned him in his most vulnerable period of life.

Agree with everything about Shaan and astha...but the full back story is not out yet..so a benefit of doubt

Still...even in extreme hate too...there is a limit one should not cross...yes he is emotionally damaged....and he don't have to accept astha..he can refuse no doubt...but he should not cross certain limits

The episode analysis i have done in my own post but, just want to add more points.

I really felt for shaurya today. The pain was visible in his eyes that his parents , because of there own set of reasons, just abondon him in the delicate age and he has to bear that burden till today!

KV acted out too well in the scene.

On the other hand, the flashback really hit hard to me from astha perspective. Yes! Even i cant deny the fact that any reason on the world is not big enough to leave your child in that condition but, still , that pain in her eyes still penetrated towards me ( but not equal to shaurya).

Though i hope that the writers must come with a logical explanation and reasoning that a mother left her child. ( Which has less chances to say ,but lets hope).

I dont felt k writers are making us sympathize with astha. They ran both situations parallel and even shaurya words were bitter, it reflected the need of his mother.

In this situation, i feel shan is bit on fault side of not clearing out this situation. One cannot impose astha on shaurya by force.

Though, i totally loved the episode.

I don't usually comment here but just wanted to add a point. How is Shaurya's anger towards Aastha not justified? Unless they give a very good explanation of Aastha's actions, a mother abandoning her child is far worse than anything Shaurya says. What stopped Aastha from taking her son with her? More than anyone, I feel bad for Shaurya. The guy was deprived of both his parents' love and care and yet his father expects him to be all mature and understanding about his mother. That is an injustice towards Shaurya. I get that he is a grown up mature adult. But some wounds are just too deep and needs proper time and care to heal.

Yes the writers should give better explanation why Astha left her only child the reason must be strong because she is shown as strong character and even after leaving she never enquired about Shaurya which is hard to believe so I think there is much more to the story, let's see how they justify all past actions of Astha and Shaan.

Exactly otherwise shaurya is justified.

Yes ,his words are bitter and disrespectful for a mother but, think from a perspective of a child whose mother left only child, never enquired, his father neglected him and didnt tell the reason and the whole family narrated their own version. With all this, shaurya is justified!

True👍

His reaction was natural as all he know is the other part of story. He considers Devi and Tej his parents but he can't deny the truth that his mother left him and his father never cared the situation actually showed how heartbroken he is. He might behave like a tough guy but deep down he is damaged which clearly reflects in his actions whenever he sees Astha because it reminds him of his lonely childhood.

What I wonder is how she didn't file for his custody? Or even divorce?

Maybe because Sabherwal's were powerful or because she thought, on the agency of Shaan that Sabherwal will understand her once things settle down.

But by the time she went back, they've filled Shaurya's head with such hatred, her own child didn't want to see her face. So she felt dejected and left.

Maybe teen Shaurya said he'll harm himself if Aastha ever came close to him. I mean it could be possible seeing his behaviour in today's episode.

There can be a lot of reasons why the situation is what it is.
