Analysis 19 Feb : The Storm of Past

Today, there were no SaKhi scenes but the story move miles forward in the right direction and enables a deeper look into the characters. I must commend the team that this week, they've presented top notch episodes!

There were only scenes throughout the episode today. It was finally the day Aastha got shot and then Shaurya emotionally blackmailing Shaan to choose between him and Aastha.

Anokhi's mother had already seen a pistol in his brother's room and when he didn't reach home today, she got worried and told everything to Anokhi's father. Subsequently, they both heard him planning against on the phone and decided to run to the spot.

One casual thing here, when Anokhi's mother was worried about her son not reaching home, his father very casually said, he must be with friends. If it were his daughters, we know the outcome.

Aastha was on call with Anokhi but leaves it behind while running which her brother eventually gets and it aggravates his anger. Such a spineless, pathetic man he is. He's doing all this because a woman helped his sister leave for studying. Patriarchy enables such behaviour from men. They can grasp how women can do anything without a man's permission.

All Aastha sees after getting shot was Shaan and Shaurya. The scene was juxtaposed with Shaurya asking Shaan to divorce her. Poor her.

Then comes Shaurya and Shaan scenes. It was outrageous by all means. Shaurya is behaving like a petty 20 year old not like a grown up man in his thirties. His hate naturally overrode everything else. What's worse family supported him in asking for the divorce. Sabherwal family is the reason why Shaurya turned out like this, full of hate and resentment towards Aastha.

Shaan even grabbed his collar, unable to see him insult Aastha anymore. Meanwhile the only sane member of Sabherwal household : Shaurya's chachi, went and found out it was Bebo who called and told Shaurya. Everybody was left confused and the episode ended.

I know there were no SaKhi scenes but today's episode was good actually. We get to see various dynamics in their true nature. Badi maa still didn't stop badmouthing Aastha in such a situation. This woman is clearly obsessed. Poor Anokhi is also worried that Aastha isn't picking up. Hope the hospital scenes are good too!

This scene 😭 i got emotional after reading it only. Why our society is like this? First they don't allow a girl to support her family after marriage,then if she does that,she will be called characterless,home breaker,bad mother and what not...😡

Shaurya n Shaan's scene... don't know what to say about it. Shaurya has so much hatred for his mother that it will take ages for his redemption. Right now i can't see it in near future.😭

There was no Shakhi scene today. Absolutely fine with it. I am happy that story is finally progressing.

I know right, everywhere it's women who suffer and that too for nothing. Shaurya isn't bad but he's raised by dogmatic Sabherwal family so his judgement is clouded. I hope he looks past his biases and gains a new perspective

Always love your review Guneet such an emotional yet intresting episode it was. Today Devi's thoughts reflected in Shaurya's words he blamed Shaan for everything without any proof wasn't expecting this from him. One good thing is the story is moving forward with good pace.

Now I want to see what will Shaurya do with Bebo and Kitty atleast now they should get punished for their deeds.

My favourite part Shaan finally taking stand for Astha when Shaurya insulted her.

It was a okay episode...lots of build up for upcoming track.. CV needed to show drama as well so they did...i felt bad for aastha as she was falling from the building she was only getting flash back of her little shaurya and shaan...felt bad for her...hope when anokhi comes to know about mother son relationship she will bring them closer.

Shaurya hate his mother a lot 😒 devi didn't leave chance to instigate shaurya asking to divorce her..this hate will take lots of time to go from shaurya's side.

I feel like raja's character is very unnecessary in the show...mr. bhalla having two daughters was enough.😆

Finally kitty told the truth.. also shaurya knows it was bebo...so the 3 people that shaurya was blaming aastha anokhi shaan turn out to be innocent.. what would shaurya do now.😆

I don’t know how shaan is only the sane one in that family, May be Aastha’s love changed him.

At this point I am very disappointed with the writers. They are getting ready to shove aastha down our throats as a victim mother who was separated from her child and now her child hates her. Please!!! I dont think writers can actually come up with someone plausible to justify aastha leaving Shaurya. What is with Shaan? He wants shaurya to just accept aastha as his mother just because they share blood? What duties as a mother did aastha fulfill to deserve shaurya's love and respect? Shaan on the other hand has no right to say anything to shaurya considering he failed as a father too. After listening to her comments during her discussion with Shaan in library, I can't empathize with aastha. I really hope shaurya is not forced to accept aastha. If he accepts her, it should be organic and not just something that happened out of the blue for an illogical reason. So far aastha and Shaan can be all high and mighty they want for the outside world but they lost the battle in their own family when they failed shaurya. Shaurya is not acting like a 20 yr old. It is a normal reaction of an emotionally damaged guy who is being forced to accept a woman who abandoned him in his most vulnerable period of life.
