I used to be hopelessly romantic until I found out how trashy my ex bf of 7 years was!
Since then, all I have met is men who are POS, gaslighting and lying.
But it taught me to fall in love with myself and maybe some day I will meet someone amazing. But I don't have much hopes for that!

Maybe I will find someone decent, at some point. I don't mind idiots, but there are a lot of toxic people out there, especially in Indian culture. It's just hard, since we grow up watching movies where they say "ladki ki na mein haan hota hai" etc.
I believe in love. I don't like constraining love to romance only though. I think love is an honest human emotion that can manifest in many ways. Love can be found through family, friends, sexual partners, romantic partners, and more.
Love, at first sight, doesn't exist though. That is lust or attraction. You cannot love someone without knowing someone. You can be attracted at first sight and then grow to love them, but it wasn't love at the start.
maybe be some just come to know how the other person is at first sight intuitively? They don’t really have to meet them again as they already know enough i.e. some people do have skills like reading auras, reading faces, knowing that a particular person is better for them just by how they feel around them even if they meet for the first time.
