What's your opinion on Abhishek's performance as a guy suffering from Multi personality disorder in webseries - Breathe : into the shadows ?

According to me he was quite convincing as simple family oriented smart physiatrist Avinash in first half but something seemed to be lacking while he was actually committing murders ( esp after the second one)

He's still better than most of contemporaries at it though

I think his acting really regressed. I found him so wooden and plastic throughout the series honestly :( I think he redeemed himself a little in the last episode but still, his performance left so much to be desired. It was such a turn off especially since it felt like he totally let himself go. His face was bloated in the entire series. Idk. It was such an emotional-less performance for me.

This is coming from a fan of Abhishek’s who loved him in movies like Yuva, Kuch na Kaho, Bunty aur Babli, Phir Milenge, KANK, Bluffmaster, Guru, Dostana etc 😞

Madhavan’s performance in the first part for me is the clear winner. He was amazing.

Abhishek was good in both Breathe and Ludo... Also , a bloated face has nothing to do with performance....

I’m not saying his performance was bad because he looked bloated though. I just meant that it was a turn off watching him because of how much he let himself go. Actors should be presentable, it’s a visual medium. Putting aside all of that, I still think he didn’t nail his performance the way he could’ve. He was alright.
