for my own pitha shree..patni shoyld obey her pati..should adjust amd accept all the flaws and do her duties..should shut the 🤬even if husband and kids are wrong..shoyldnt question them, figjt with them or argie with them...my duty is only to look after them

I have never kept any vrath for my pati dev and i wont.. agar they dont love, respect or do anything for us,why the hell should woman starve? yes i do poojas but not sathya savithiri kind..i should have born in 2050 and mera pati ka thinking 1950 ka hey.. he always scolds that i am not geling with people, torally in my own world..

i hate to sorround myself with people who are fake, manipulative and liers...

It was like having a conversation between "purane khayalat"and "naye" to get people to see the other side and perspective via Sai. So ashwini was the samaj and Sai was questioning the samaj. to me it was beautifully done and such a wonderful message they sent to viewers via Sai. Although, not saying ashwini is right and that mindset is too sour for my taste "get dinner for ur husband" "look pretty for your husband"

you know yehaan inkaey dosth kaey patni ask opinion on their dress to their husband..i totally get pissed off... they always want their husband to select dresses for them..

This is the only department my husband doesnt interfere..to be frank he is modern only on dress thong, but thoughts on other issues date back to 1950.

emotional manipulation on woman in the name of love, marriage etc etc... media and serials are enough to fool woman emotionally that physical man handling and verbal abuse of men is normal, because they love her🤢.and husband will be like that only😡

my sincere advice or request to unmarried woman in the forum..wake up girls, society is fooling us..shaadi karo but dont fall emptionally weak.be smart, brave and clever too else cannot survive this so called marriage life..Have some savings for yourself,go to job and dont disclose eveytwhing thing to your life partner..

be practical...

First off, big hug to you.

I have boys too. And I consider it a huge responsibility to give them values that will help them to evolve beyond the societal pressures. That's how the next generation will change for the better.

Our girls are brought up to speak up, be independent, and boys are still stuck in the raja beta mode. Boys have a lot of catching up to do.

Girls like Sai ... will bring about a change. Mothers like Ashwini ..it's great that she communicates with Sai, explains everything very patiently, but at some point she should also be able to see the flaws in Virat. He is not perfect himself. I hope we get to see that part of Ashwini too.

Agree!👏

They just glorified all these traditions which are the result of age long patriarchy in our society in the name of 'strength'. Its not about whether women can do it, its about 'why' they should do it.

Unpopular opinion: Aai saying Sai Virat Chavan wasn't a music to my ears. For me she'll always be Sai Joshi not Sai Virat Chavan or anything else just like Virat will always be Virat Chavan not Virat Joshi.

I have seen some nice serials either shut down or show unbelievable drama.

Torture is exaggerated in this show to create drama (for trp). That's fine. How are they going to lose audience by having Ashwini telling Sai to pick her battles (instead of giving shitty gyaan) and also giving an earful to Virat. The drama will still be there to satiate the masses. What is the need to propagate regressive ideas?

Ashwini & Sai viewpoints I have already mentioned as their perspectives are different. Being a traditional bahu with no education & no identity as such Ashwini has mostly maintained peace by toeing the chakram line. She will give advice only from her perspective.

I have a greater problem when an educated person like Virat does nothing when people call Sai a junglee mulgi etc.

As for regressive ideas ITV is all about regressive ideas. The fact that Virat married Sai for her protection in society, the premise of the show, is wrong. But here we are, you & me discussing about it.😀
