Kushal Tandon has finally broken his silence on Shreya Kalra's allegations about his relationship with Shivangi Joshi. Shreya had claimed that Kushal was flirting with her and suggested that she was the reason behind his breakup with Shivangi. In a recent interview with Zoom, Kushal addressed Shreya's claims and strongly denied that she had anything to do with his breakup with Shivangi. He also recalled his first interaction with Shreya during the promo shoot of Barsatein and explained the context behind their brief conversation. He said, "I am giving you the exact context because mujhe Shreya Kalra ka poora naam bhi nahi pata tha. Toh jab inhone bola ki koi ladki Shreya Kalra aisa bol rahi thi, main kaun Shreya Kalra? Phir mujhe 2x2 kiya jab poori story batayi."

Kushal then directly addressed Shreya's claim that their interaction had resulted in his breakup with Shivangi. Explaining how their conversation came about, Kushal said that it was a normal interaction that happened on the set. He added, "Toh jab aap show mein baithte ho, cameras ke saamne ya unit ke saamne, you talk to people. Hi, what's up, how are you? So hamari baat chali thi ki aap ye kyun kar rahe ho. Toh unhone bola mereko promise kiya tha Kushal Tandon ke saath full on promo shoot hai, and woh bas ek passing shot nikal gaya, toh main ab workout nahi kar sakti hoon."

Kushal further recalled receiving a message from Shreya after their interaction. He said, "Then Instagram mein unka message aaya tha, 'Thank you so much for being such a nice person.' I said, 'Dude, you can do much better. You can do very good. You should not have done this small role of passing by seeing the actor.' That's it."

He went on to maintain that there was no further communication between them after that. Kushal said, "Iske alawa meri unse koi zindagi mein baat nahi hui. Na maine unko uske baad kabhi zindagi mein mila hai aur na hi maine kabhi DMs kiye hain. Maine show mein bola tha, main ladkiyon ko DMs nahi karta hoon."

Kushal also explained why he does not usually send direct messages to women on Instagram. He said, "Aur khaas kar jo Indians ho, because I have to, it should not look rude, but I have to big up the ego of me just randomly messaging any girl on Instagram.
