You are taking the word Gentleman way too literally. Gentleman doesn't mean if someone pushes you, you don't answer back. And Abhinav himself said that his patience was taken to mean he is weak so now he will give back and aggressively so. And he is proving it.

Abhinav himself declared he is no longer going to be the decent understanding person and he'll be aggressive now. So he is doing what he said he will do. Because that's the game. Without aggression, no contribution in the show is considered. He has taken the gloves off, now no more Mr. Nice guy😎. I rather used to have objections when he didn't react and let things go.
