Priyanka may be better than Deepika in some kinds of roles, but even Deepika is way ahead of Priyanka when it comes to other types of roles... can you imagine PC being Meenamma? Or Piku?

On the other hand, Taapsee is actually a better actress than Alia because she does the same kind of roles much better than her.

Also, the reason Priyanka's performance as Kashi is hyped so much is because as the betrayed wife she evokes sympathy. Sympathy is a seductive, potent energy,

Deepika doesn't evoke that sympathy in the movie, her character is one-dimensional. But I think she was pretty good in BM.

In Padmavat, I didn't like her performance at all. It was like pre-Cocktail days.

I loved her in Chapaak and she redeemed herself with that movie.

And no, Priyanka really did get the MVP notes for her stunning performance in BM whereas Deepika actually got panned for her lifelessly pathetic performance in the same film. Go revisit the reviews if you don't believe me.

@Bold: Exactly! Thank you for being brutally honest about your biases...

And yes...I can very much imagine PC in those aforementioned films because she is not only supremely talented but she is also a much better actress than the wooden Deepika who simply cannot act to save her life and do not even get me started on her horrible dialogue delivery and voice modulation.

No wonder deepika was so butthurt that she even refused to perform panga with priyanka in an awards show during that time

SLB is Deepika's biggest enemy. She thought he'll do to her career what he did to Ash's career.

But too bad. She was bad in all of the films they did together.

She's actually an ok actress who can be moulded into a different character. She did that with Cocktail, YJHD, Chennai Express and Piku. Too bad SLB couldn't make her performance natural.

Priyanka on the other hand is too overpraised for no reason. She's definitely better than Deepika but that isn't saying much lol. She can never do what a Kangana or a Vidya or a Tabu can do. She's done so much bad work idk how people forget her horrendous acting in all those movies.
