It was clearly stated in the movie that Anshuman was Geet's boyfriend. It seems like Anshuman was never serious about this relationship, forget about marrying her. But naive small town girl Geet started dreaming of marrying him like any other Asian girl would have, hence Geet is not here to be blamed. Asian people are tend to be much traditional compared to the people that belong to the western region. Usually when the people from the western country get involved into relationships, they don't think about the future seriously, they tend to focus on the present if anything. The same goes for European countries too. So when I am telling 'Asian', it means the entire Asia region yes. Usually in a relationship girls are likely to be more committed and think about the future in a much broader way than the guys do. And when it's about our Asian culture, most of the girls visualize how it would be like if they marry their beloved person. There are exceptions too, but the portion is lesser.

Yes it seems like the nun knew Geet, but don't think that Geet called out the nun. Looking at the expressions of the nun it seems like the nun had seen her there coincidentally and after listening to all the details from her, chose to keep her at the church where Geet would be able to earn her bread and butter while teaching as well.

Just watched the movie. We never got to see his side. It's not wrong to assume that Geet was a delusional person combined with immaturity and it's possible that Anshuman could have never asked for marriage but since it's a movie, they always need a scapegoat.

Looking by the likes on this topic, I think people on this forum are very filmy and far from reality. They enjoy characters like Rahul (KKHH), Aman (KHNH) and Geet. To be honest, if the genders are reversed and if the guy acts like Geet he would probably be reported for harassment by the girls family and have his life ruined. There is no clarity on whether Anshuman promised to marry her or not and as I said already, we dont know his side of the story so its not okay to assume anything and as for him agreeing to marry her, it was probably out of guilt.
