Who is the best actress among them?

imo, Kajol is best among this lot. And usually too she is a good actor. She can emote without overacting (at least in whatever I have seen her).

It's easy for me to choose since the other options I anyway dont like (in terms of acting)

No one's voting for Alia. Don't know if it's biasedness or they genuinely don't consider her better than Kareena, Karisma and Aishwarya. These actresses did a lot of overacting in the old days. Their acting was very old school.

Kareena has mellowed down now, partly which has helped her in keeping in the race, but still nothing special.

In my opinion, Alia is a better actress than everyone in the list except Kajol.

From this list, Aishwarya and Alia are good.
