What was Vidhya trying to say to Gunny???

I dont know how to put this but what was Vidhya actually trying to say to Gunny that she felt sympathy for Sameera who was being given the rude treatement by fellow cadets and even some harsh teratment from Mjr Vaibhavi, or she felt Sympathy for Sameera because her situation was somewhat like what Vansh went through in the last moments of his life that was him alone fighting a group of terrorists all alone and getting killed brutally in the end. another big question is why was Gunny so upset seeing her in such a state i mean when she went up to him in the canteen annd told him something like 'Sameera ki galti nahin thi sir hum sab us par tute pade the aur woh bilkul akale thi' and then blashbacks of Vansh being tortured are shown (Vidhya face during this time reflects alot of pain and agony) upon hearing all this Gunny gets up and takes a step towards her as if to comfort her and stops himself. Now i so badly want to know how is Gunny related to sangrampura, Vidhya and maybe even Vansh death.....
