A huge portion of such audience only watches mainstream films Hollywood, listen to pop culture songs but is not interested in any politics of usa, they might have even heard N word but has no idea about history,context about it ,at best that ppl don't use this word.
A lot of people i know wld listen to only English songs but have no idea abouts america except trump is President.
Even I who is into politics only looked up about blm stuff bcz it was being retweeted those days ,but after that really doens't concerned what happened or happeing about it, it's not a priority.
A huge portion of the Indian audience also probably don’t realise that Sonam is chilling in her Notting Hill home in London or that Shilpa Shetty has released her 517th yoga video. BLM on the other hand was hard to miss. There wasn’t a single leading brand that didn’t take part and some dumb af Bollywood actors who knew nothing about the movement also joined in.
See there’s some things I can empathise with. Like when a Nigerian student comes to the city and gets stared at by the entire local population. I feel for the individual but I also understand that them staring is not because they’re racist, it’s largely because they haven’t seen a black person in reality with that skin tone or with hair different to them. The stares come from a place of curiosity rather than judgement I feel. But the N word? Nope. You don’t have to be political or know the ideological difference between the Dems and Reps to realise it isn’t appropriate to use the word.

That still doesn't change the fact that gobar karne wala is the doshi not the rest of the world for noticing it or cleaning it up 😆. What u would personally do with a situation is your personal matter. You can't expect everybody to follow ur rule or find fault in them for not doing so.
