Hi,did u ever hv a allergic reaction to insect bite in india.?

Wat was the treatment given. I had an allergic reaction to some insect bite ,have no idea which one, was given avil25 n 10 mg Prednisone. I had welts on one side on body n one finger was swollen

Wat was ur treatment .

Am I only unfortunate one who had bad reaction.

I know avil is a very general anti allergic. People even taken them before getting waxing done to avoid boils on skin.

Anyways.. I had an allergy test done.. I’m allergic to pollens in the air, some animal and insect dander along with slight food intolerance.

Maybe you can get an allergy test done first.

It is good you ask pharmacist or a doctor. There are medicines related to such allergies. The doctor/pharmacist will let you know.

Thanks, yes will definitely do an anti allergy test once this covid-19 subsides a bit.

Low dose Prednisone should make it make it go away in no time if it’s just a garden variety rash or welts. I don’t know what Avil is? Is that an Indian brand name? But 10 mg is low dose enough to not have any side effects
