Sagars are not showing DV in a thoughtful manner...He doesn't have a mind of his own at times...n even more than being depenedant on Veer everytime...Dharam is shown to be so insensitive..small small incidents can put light on this...

Remeber the episode when it was Dharam's bday...n Veer is a Shamik..n he is going to be surprising Dharam with a gift n Dharam is following him..incidentally Dharam seems to bang into Veer..N the way he yells at him, thinking him to be sum passing Shamik!!!

We ahve seen PRC...Someshwar, PRC n his friends..they were such gr88 men, who gave us soo many lessons...but in DV...Dis Dharam, suddenly whats up with him..he doesn't care about his praja at all...when sumone's father dies..instead of providing even a wee bit of solace to Gopi, he cums to him to save his own life...dats mean n insensitive of him...

in PRC there's a dialogue..."Ki ek Rajat ka Astitva apni Praja par nirbhar hain...uske Praja ke bina, woh kuch bhi nahi hain...woh uske liye Vardaan bhi hain aur Abhishap bhi..." n for a king, his subjetcs and kingdom fall way before his family n his life...I hope Dharam's character is potrayed with sum sense from now on!!!

aashi i kinda agree with u here.. dharam's character is not very stable.. his character sketch is shady.. i like dharam only because vikrant's a gud actor.. if a less capable actor was potraying the role then i probably wouldnt have liked him much..

though i agree with you... that dharam's character is not stable and not been portrayed well.. i would not agree with you comparing him to PRC...
i think the basic crux of the story is that the aryavrat lineage is a horrible one and because of all the tortures and atrocities that they have been committing that the shramiks hate them so much.. if they were like someshwar.. then the story itself is a different one.. infact growing up with a horrible uncle, cousin and lame father, these two have definitely sparkled...

the basic crux of the story is where dharam is not bad at heart but his vichaar are narrow minded just like what has been drilled into him by his parampara.. veer who is a shramik will possibly change all this by the end.. either by standing with him or going against him (and most possibly both)

so i wouldnt mind if he wasnt entirely too kind to the shramiks.. infact i was surprisd at his massive outburst at siya..

and to say that he scolded someone because he banged into them i think the kings portrayed on tv are a bit too ideal to suit mordern tastes...

with all this class system etc.... if a commoner bumped into even a great king, i dont think he is going to walk past like nothing happened... itnaa chodo ham ... aaj ki duniya main.. if someone bumps into us in a bus or on the street e.g. a lady with a basket of vegetables.. dont we stare at her angrily? 😆
