Anyone could have done it but noone could have had the same affect as Ranbir. Even deepika for thay matter. I ain't even her fan but Ranbir and deepika made YHJH. Kalki ARK also were perfect cast. I honestly dont think anyone else playing those 4 roles would have hit the audience the same way.

Its making you dizzy because of how difficult those spins were. But Alia, despite not being a professional dancer nailed it! Its hard to shine when someone of Madhuri's stature is standing next to you, but Alia shined bright like a star! She reminds of Sridevi who wasn't a professional dancer but worked hard & mastered it & become so stunning.

She nailed it because you said so???? Did you read any of the reviews for the movies? Just take a look at the comments below the song. Or people complaining how bad she was here at the time. She didn't nail something because you said she did. 🤣🤣

Madhuri herself praised Alia's dancing in Kalank. I'd take Madhuri's word more seriously than few online trolls who got nothing better in life than to criticize & bash people.

Madhuri wanted to be polite. She was working in a Dharma productions movie and wasn't going to insult the Dharma productions queen. People online are free to say the truth. These are the same people who occasionally praise her decent performances like Udta Punjab. You can't have it both ways !

Ranbir has done 17 movies out of which only 6 are clean proper hits. 35% hit rate. Hardly anything to be happy about.

Also Bombay Velvet was the biggest disaster ever. No film has seen that kind of rejection.

Question is about if we have better actors than Ranbir, not if we have more successful actors? Even in his flop movies like Tamasha and Rocket Singh, one cant deny his acting is natural. Someone like Sri Devi also had many flops but it's the acting and impact one leaves, that counts. Lamhe is seen as an iconic movie today whereas back then it was not regarded a hit. Same is happening with movies like Tamasha and Rocket Singh. Plus, his flops movies like Roy (where he wasnt even a lead) and Besharam ave 10cr openings so it's not his acting thay sucks, it's the script and that can happen to any good actor including a Sushant or a Rajkumar.

If I judge from the panel of actors we have today, Ranbir outshines them all. Even without the Kapoor name, he would have made it. There is a reason almost every single actress wants to work with Ranbir, because he is a fine actor of the current gen. From Alia to Disha to Tara to Shradhha to Tripti D.
