I don't deny that Alia and Ranbir are good actors.

But I can name countless more actors who are more talented than them. For sure.

They may be good but there are ppl alot better than them.

These people are making it worse by coming out with constant defenses for Alia (or Ranbir). It makes it look even more like there is a gang that sticks to each other.

Both RK and Alia are decent actors but not the greatest by far. They are definitely helped by being who they are. Neither one would have made it if they were outsiders - RK is too lazy and Alia would have hard time with her looks and height. But they are who they are and have a lot of privileges that come with knowing the right people. There's nothing wrong with that but it's also not right to pretend they are better actors than everyone.

Is Alia really good? I haven't seen Udta punjab but have seen Highway. She performed very well in that but I can't forget the horrendous acting she did in those badri and shit movies, dear zindagi etc. IDK maybe because the movies were crap. I don't find her appealing as an actress.
