I saw Laila Majnu today and saw the spark in her.
Then I watched Bulbul and was completely blown away by her performance. She is such a fine actress. I wanna see her do more films and succeed.

The nicest thing I can say is does anyone have her phone number ?? 😆😆
i watched Bulbbul today and the movie was alright not great but Tripti was AMAZING.. one of the best performances in Bollywood i've ever seen..
and i was reading through some of the reviews ..about 4 random ones i found in google news and none of them mentioned her.. her performance was the highlight, to not even have one sentence on her performance was very odd..
it made me wonder if this is how they keep outsiders down.. not recognise their performances so the nepotism defenders can say "well outsiders aren't talented like Alia Bhatt..don't blame nepotism" etc etc etc

Most of the blue ticks on twitter who tweeted good things about Bulbbul only mentioned Anushka and the director. Hardly anyone mentioned about Tripti, Avinash or Parambrata. It was all Anushka, Netflix and sometimes Anvita Dutt, the director. Imagine the hype had it been any starkid.

Are you serious?
SHE FREAKING OWNED THE FILM. I can't remember the last BW lead actress I saw give such a stellar performance!
Yes, the direction was great. Story was hard hitting, but it is the performances that took it a notch higher, esp Tripti's. Avinash & Rahul were so damn good as well!

I agree with you, but general audience is appreciating Tripti, obviously, not as much in compared to the hyped ones. She is talented and deserves more recognition.

exactly! maybe it was just coincidence but i searched for Bulbbul reviews then hit google news and read the top few results and they didn't mention performances what so ever...

The general audience here is people who watch Netflix and even there those who watched Bulbbul. At the end of the day its a very small number. These people need hype/recognition in order to sustain and get more and bigger offers.
The same pair got rave reviews for Laila Majnu as well but there was no recognition and nothing else for 2 years. Its just weird that the ones praising the movie are not even tagging the leads.
