See, I was just watching this episodic where a wife leaves her house after constant bickering and later the husband came and apologized.

One dialogue hit me - I did things unintentionally but I couldn't understand in a way I was DISRESPECTING you.

That's a really strong and relevent word because in shows it's like, wife/FL has no self-respect and she keeps on forgiving and it's toxic as a lot of people get influenced through TV and feel that's the way women should behave. 🤔

Really wanted to thank the dialogue writer for this particular sentence.

Really interesting! Yes, a good dialogue. Also I actually love something like both characters having a stand than just forgiving stuff, like if others apologise for some huge mess, Characters will be like, oh no you are elder, how can you? In a way, I find it to be encouraging for elders or others to behave wrong and mess up. So ppl start expecting this and then have bubble burst moments, and it hits bad for many. Be it this or cheesy romance and all, which ultimately leads to breakups than communication and talking it out and facing reality.

One thing that I have always hated in Nazar and even the last episode can't make me say otherwise.

In that sense, I loved IPN when Iccha left Babbal's house and looked at her father. That one look was enough to portray how he had destroyed her married life at that point.

In a sense, I am glad that Piya and Divya had a confrontation. So there it was balanced. But Ved Mata and later when Nishant turned into Nikamma Nishant. 🤬 🤬 🤬

On a side note, is Naagin 4 going off air?

Yes, honestly in Nazar later all characters were just too mahan, and no one Actually took responsibility of doing wrong things, be it Piansh, Pari, Rathods, Team R. Only sane people were Gurumaa and Panditji.

God knows, latest article says it won't, so they will have a few episodes. Tbh am least interested. Jo karna hai kare.

Post leap all were butchered. But Nishant disappointed me horribly. Yes, I am glad Divya and Guruma weren't butchered.

Well, mujhe bhi jyada farak nahi pasta. In fact, I think N4 has been quite underwhelming.

Just read an IV of Harsh that the quality and grandeur will suffer. I agree with him. Honestly, if it were about entertainment only, I would say it's idiotic to resume shoot now. But this too is an industry and daily wage earners are suffering. So they have to resume anyway. We can only pray that everyone remains safe!

Yes, N4 has been horrible and a shame for the series.

TFS, I will be honest with you. Nowadays I have totally quit reading interviews of actors, cos am finding it highly dumb, attention seeking or hawa me teer lagao, even faking. A few can be good, but have totally found it irritating now. Plus what he said is nothing rocket science too.

Well, I have my reservation regarding Divya too. But apart from the Daayan promo, Piya's search for her mother was another reason for me to keep a tab on it. So considering the mother-daughter aspect, it was good. Piya questioned her, chose Ansh over her since Divya was prejudiced but at the end also acknowledged her intention was good. So in that sense Piya-Divya remains untouched. Plus, it's not that Piya forgot her totally. Post leap on a couple of occasion she recalled her mother. So it's not that she died and went into oblivion unlike some other shows.

Otherwise Divya being a Sarpika itself was a huge blunder.

Honestly, the only IV I have found to be most relevant was Shruti Seth's. The current situation is not at all ideal for resuming. But many are suffering so from economical point of view, they don't have any choice.

Yeah, cool. There's nothing wrong in seeing, I just shared my experience. Plus frankly I had started seeing bits of off screen cos of few friends.

Of course, it's like you are always going to find something great.

On a different note, I haven't seen any daily soap of my country in a really long time. Since I have this reservation that they are habit forming.

Plus, in the recent time, a lot of shows were blindly copy pasting ITV and some were totally dumb but economical.

Finally found a daily soap while binge watching episodics of the favorite I was talking about. I've gotta say, I am hooked. And loving her role here and the portrayal as well as the other cast so far. 👏

Another thing I loved was that she is playing a widowed mother of a 6/7 years old and killing it. This is one thing I really admire about my native actresses and some ITV actresses too that they don't shy away from playing mothers unlike some popular actresses.

Can't wait to download the already uploaded episodes. Although don't know if they'll come back or not considering the current situation.
