Sorry couldn't reply last night... Was reading a book and just got lost.

Wo to jab maa gave me her Mo-special stare, then I realised that it's past midnight... 😆

Agree completely with whatever you said... 🤗

The word POSSESSIVE actually hints towards POSSESSION and a person is definitely not someone's personal possession...a toy or anything that someone can own him/her.

I agree with the jealousy part. Yes, thodi bahut jealousy to hoti hai, no matter how insignificant it is. But then, the other person has several other people in his/her life and he/she can not give the entire space to one particular person... Neither can one particular person hog all the space in his/her life cos the other person would also end up getting irritated.

Definitely... Even if you are the most important person in someone's life, it doesn't mrean that he/she does not have anyone else in his/her life and you do not get a free pass to show your ownership on him/her.

Yeah... Unfortunately, most of the female fans want this sort of a possessive ML and I don't know what is so HOT about this... I am sure in real life if they get such a spouse, they'd end up taking a divorce.

Forget Trishanku Lok track... Ye to bahut baad ki kahani hai. Since the show began, in the first two weeks itself, all the fans were harping on the fact that Ansh being a DV should be possessive about Pia and that they'd love to see his possessive side.

In fact, I came across several comments on twitter and insta. Fans wanted a strong male villain because they wanted to see the possessive side of Ansh not because they wanted some smart opponent for Piansh to fight against...

Definitely... There is a vast difference between becoming the centre of someone's life and forcing her to show complete submission.

I agree... It's a business to produce shows and they have to cater what people like. And definitely, they too need to take some initiative.

Even though it has to be done from both sides, still kahin se to shuruaat karni hogi na?

Yes, it has taken decades to change this. And I think, it will take some more time to change.

Agree with you that the modification has been so slow that the people don't feel that it occurred just like that all of a sudden...

Now, this 'suffering in love'... I never understood this concept. Why do you have to suffer in love?? Why can't you have a normal life? What is so great about suffering after falling in love with someone??

Agree completely with the last part... Business is important but this change is also important. The change and the progress will be slow but ultimately, if we do progress, someday this tragic idea will definitely fade away...

Yes.

Hi5 in terms of not liking, but unlike you lately I find all characters messed up, 🤣like earlier I could atleast say okay, here the ML has a great character, FL has or both have, but recent case was none had. Or if a few had they're butchered for whitewashing others.

In fact before seeing the VM, even I got this fear and it's right! She had done a crossover on Rohit and Mauli. Like a worst character and a best character, even in terms of Doctor, the insult the show did to the field. Also the concept of a crossover is actually, 2 actors having potential, you club them or 2 characters which have potential and you would love to see their story, for me it's a blend. But no offense in this case, second point is void cos Rohit, and first point, they have great potential together, and they did an episodic which was interesting.

Like for me, I would love to do a crossover on Adi and Vividha, cos I felt Pankhuri to be mahan to infinity, where A started losing his essence, and a kinda biased thing, but V would actually make him grow, like both would enjoy and have responsibilities, and a connect.

I don't know if you understood anything, tbh.

Exactly! Will write today cos once it's deleted, you type again, you tend to shorten it and impact goes.

True!

I agree. The song and its lyrics is too perfect. I felt it was apt. But then again, you don't want to repeat, so that's also understandable. 😊

It's funny because some fan had posted a short VM on Suchi and Pihu on this song and that's when I heard this for the first time. And as usual, started crying. That show caused serious damage to me. 😭 😭 😭

Well, how is this unlikely? 😆 Even I said 90% times I don't like the characters. Because honestly, it's really difficult to keep a character relevant, be it lead or supporting. As I keep saying, I adored Meredith Grey until Season 10 but now whenever I look at her face, I want to punch her. Nothing on Ellen Pompeo - she's a great actress.

I would say recently the TRP race had become so intense that the writers kept changing tracks and characteristics and that's why we couldn't really like them.

Well, I do get the gist. And that's why I said. Harshad Chopra is definitely a good actor and if you look at it from potentiality perspective, Aditi and him would be great together. But then again, character too is a huge deal for me. Mauli is one of my two most favorite female characters of ITV. So I wouldn't settle for anyone aire-gaire for her. 😛

Rohit as a character was horribly written and no offense but KSG was also bad. Long ago before his comedy stunt he did portray lead roles and was good. He has an amazing comic timing too. But in KHKT I felt they just tried to make him like Raman and the writing was horrible and KSG doesn't have the same intensity as KP. When you force someone to something or try to copy someone, it always comes off as fake. I hated Sona's characterization but at least Dipika wasn't copying someone and for that I appreciate her.

Thanks! 😊

Glad to know about IB. 👍🏼

I would be honest, Nazar itself had a lot of problems in particular tracks so all of us have taken breaks from time to time. In fact some episodes I am watching now and I am like - what the hell? Because Ansh was written with such amazing character traits but they made him an idiot and kept glorifying MoVed; Not to mention the extreme butchering post leap. Basically I give Nazar the credit for the love story portion. It's one of the very few shows where I have actually seen progression in a couple and they emerged victorious.

With glorification, they destroyed the Daayan/Nazar part.

Agree totally!! All characters were messed.

Koi baat nahi! 😆 Yaha to main FF mode pe natak (Episodics) dekhe ja rahe the aur gaaliyan de rahe the ki yaar! sab ek type ka hain. 🤔

About your points, I agree completely! 🤗

See, this has been my problem. Mainly female audiences have set a criteria that strong somewhere means abusive and possessive.

So it's no wonder MLs like Mukhi Ji or Ansh get unnoticed. The biggest hypocrisy I have seen is that a lot of people insult Ansh for his Vedism. But these ultimate strong (Abusive) MLs like Aman who also shows affinity towards their moms, they are praised and that is considered as a dark hero having a soft side.

I talked about Trishanku Lok because I specifically remember the term CLAIM her. As much as I hated the shift from Daivik to Sarpika, I loved the fact that ultimately it was Piya's love that saved Ansh.

I did read initial comments too and that's why I am annoyed at certain members because they have set this idea that hero has to be dark and heroine has to be light and there's actually no loyalty or liking for the characters as they are.

In fact it's become universal. As I was searcing images for you, I typed Good v/s Evil and a lot of the images were like Devil and Angel where Devil was male and Angel was female. It has been going on since ages and it's time this concept changed.

Why couldn't Piya be a Daayan and Ansh be a Daivik? The same goes for my favorite Castlevania. Why couldn't the vampire be a female character who had fallen in love with a mortal? Although we know Dracula was a man so I have to give them some lease. But you get my point, right?

Yes, true!

Of course, attachment you have with the show is deep.

Hi5 then.

Don't agree with the trp excuse cos in my defence, I don't even see 30 good episodes.

Well, I commented on the first slot of pg 14. After that Nikki and I have posted. Considering IF finally gets into its mood, you can just quote. 😊

See, this has been my problem. Mainly female audiences have set a criteria that strong somewhere means abusive and possessive.

Exactly!! This has been my problem too... Mainly it is the female audience who have set this criteria that a strong ML means the one who is abusive and possessive.

Although, in real life, they won't be ready to spend their lives with such a person...

Yeah... ML's like Mukhi Ji, Ansh etc go unnoticed because they do not fit the criteria of a 'Strong' ML.

Yup... These ultimate strong MLs like Aman who show affinity towards their mothers are praised. And yes, how can I forget this: "dark hero having a soft side" wala logic!!

I talked about Trishanku Lok because I specifically remember the term CLAIM her. As much as I hated the shift from Daivik to Sarpika, I loved the fact that ultimately it was Piya's love that saved Ansh.

Yeah... I also remember the term CLAIM. And yes, even though I hated the term Sarpika, I loved the fact that ultimately it was Pia's love that saved Ansh and not her Daivik powers...

I did read initial comments too and that's why I am annoyed at certain members because they have set this idea that hero has to be dark and heroine has to be light and there's actually no loyalty or liking for the characters as they are.

I second you here... Even I hate this idea that a hero has to be dark and the heroine has to be light. Why can't it be the other way round??

In fact it's become universal. As I was searcing images for you, I typed Good v/s Evil and a lot of the images were like Devil and Angel where Devil was male and Angel was female. It has been going on since ages and it's time this concept changed.

I know... Even I saw these pics while searching for good vs evil pictures. Mostly, devils were males and angels were females or both devil and angel were females or males... But nowhere did I see a female devil and a male angel.

Why couldn't Piya be a Daayan and Ansh be a Daivik? The same goes for my favorite Castlevania. Why couldn't the vampire be a female character who had fallen in love with a mortal? Although we know Dracula was a man so I have to give them some lease. But you get my point, right?

I do get your point...

Now, coming about Pia being a Daayan and Ansh being a Daivik... Well, if I forget the Dev thing, then in the initial episodes, they had shown Daivik to be a manifestation of Devi Maa's powers. And they had to show Pia taking Maa Durga and Kali's avtars. Ab they couldn't do the same with Ansh na? 😆

Khair... Jokes apart. Yes, they could have shown Pia as a Daayan and Ansh as a Daivik who would save Pia from Mo... It would have been a different story altogether.
